In case you were living under a rock this summer, the first season of Love Island, the North American counterpart to the UK’s wildly successful series, premiered in July on CTV and it was filled with love, lust, and drama, drama, drama! The premise of the show was pretty simple––very attractive singles (henceforth known as “The Islanders”) lived in a villa for six weeks hoping to find love by coupling up with the partner of their choice. Each week, their love was put to the test by challenges and sexy new bombshells. The show ended with everyone’s favourite couple, Zac and Elizabeth, winning the show and splitting the $100,000 grand prize.Last night’s reunion was long awaited, as we haven’t seen the Islanders in the same room since they all left the islands of Fiji. The show’s hilarious narrator, Matthew Hoffman, and the show’s host, Arielle, were also there to join in on the fun, which leaves us to believe that we’ll have a full-length version of the reunion coming to us very soon. For now, though, we did learn some pretty interesting new information about who's still together, which Islanders have hooked up since the show ended, and who has remained friendly.
Kyra and CashelKyra and Cashel’s epic love story continues, as the pair were amongst the first to arrive to the reunion, entering hand-in-hand.Dylan and AlexandraThe second-place winners arrived with Kyra and Cashel, walking side by side. What have they been up to? They’re thinking about what they should be for Halloween. Personally, we say peanut butter and jelly. We even got a bonus answer... ??#LoveIslandUSA pic.twitter.com/hz09oSRqG8
