Ryan Seacrest took a tumble on live TV

No one likes to fall down at work, but when your job is on national TV, that fall can become the thing that viral moments are made of. Ryan Seacrest learned this the hard way (literally) on Tuesday when the TV host got a little too excited trying to catch a gold balloon and lost his balance, falling out of his chair on live television. Good news? He eventually caught the balloon.Seacrest was temporarily back in the hosting chair on his daily show Live with Kelly and Ryan along with co-host Kelly Ripa on Tuesday. The pair were announcing a new segment called 2020 Travel Trivia, which included a few festive balloons floating through the air. No surprise, the man with 27 jobs tried to grab the gold balloon, but Seacrest’s latest quest for the top landed him on the bottom. Seacrest lost his balance and fell backwards off the stage, nearly taking his co-host with him. The show’s producers may want to rethink the high chairs and elevated platform, which together create a substantial falling distance. Thankfully, Seacrest wasn’t hurt and yes, he still managed to get the gold balloon. Never give up, kids.

Seacrest’s fall without grace came after the radio and TV host rang in the New Year’s in New York City as the host of Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve Celebration. Only a few days later, Seacrest was in Los Angeles on the red carpet getting interviews with all the A-list celebrities as part of E! News’ coverage of the Golden Globes. Following Sunday’s award ceremony, Seacrest was back in New York with Ripa to host their daytime talk show. Moral of the story? The pair’s interview began with Aniston asking Seacrest “How’s my home?” According to Aniston, Seacrest’s $37 million compound that he purchased from Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi in 2012 had been promised to The Morning Show actor, but Seacrest managed to snag the property first. "You're welcome any time. We'd love to have you," replied Seacrest, who is obviously earning an impressive income from his years as a producer on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Plus, as we mentioned, his 27 other jobs.
