Quarantine has a funny way of bringing us closer to the celebrities we know and love… virtually, at least. And for the Beliebers among us who are eager for a more intimate glimpse into the pop star’s life — you’re in luck. The Biebers (that is, both Justin and his wife Hailey) have officially invited us into their home. Catering to the masses currently quarantined at home and eager for new TV programming, the Biebers have created their own reality show for the Facebook Watch platform called
The Biebers on Watch. The footage is captured via GoPro cameras positioned around the couple’s home, as well as segments they’ve shot personally. It's
Big Brother meets
Keeping Up With The Kardashian vibes — but 'leave it Bieber,' in this case. The show promises an intimate look into their life in quarantine, and comes hot on the heels of Justin’s recent YouTube docuseries,
Justin Bieber: Seasons. Considering that project set a
record as the most-watched YouTube original in its first week of release, we’re anticipating that
The Biebers on Watch might see similar success.
The series will feature 12 episodes released across a three week span on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with one Facebook Live session on Fridays. Fans can expect to learn more about the young couple’s family life as they navigate marriage during quarantine, and work through some serious heart-to-hearts. In the first episode titled,
Lake Day with the Biebers, the couple take a boat ride on the lake surrounding their Southern Ontario estate and discuss the highs and lows of their relationship — including their
2016 breakup for which Hailey says, "When I looked back on it, it was the best thing that we took time apart and had time to do our own thing." It's subject matter which, surely, plenty of quarantined couples can relate to right now. "We've had to work hard on our relationship and I think that pays off in a way where we've just become so connected to each other and so close and so solid with each other," Hailey says to her husband as they sit across from each other on a boat in the middle of the picturesque lake. For his part, Justin adds, "There's a lot of things that I needed to work on. Forgiveness things. Jealousy things. Insecurities that I needed to—that I didn't even realize I had until I chose to spend my life with you."
The Biebers have been spending their quarantine in Canada, and their new show isn’t the only news to come from Bieber in the past few weeks. Along with designing a Bieber-eqsue
face mask to raise money for COVID-19 relief efforts, the singer recently announced a
collaboration with fellow pop-phenomenon Ariana Grande. Proceeds from the song, aptly titled “Stuck With U”, will be donated to a first responders children’s foundation, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), paramedics, police officers and firefighters serving at the front lines during the global pandemic.[video_embed id='1951037']RELATED: Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande team up for new track.[/video_embed]
