To make matters even more promising, Lucasfilm is among the executive producers on the series. “This is definitely a kids game show like no other,” said Mickey Capoferri of Lucasfilm. “The various challenges will test a Padawan’s connection to the Force in three locations — a forest planet, on board a Jedi star cruiser and inside a Jedi Temple — immersing them and the audience in a fun, humorous and exciting competition.”Since hearing the news, Star Wars fans can barely contain their excitement for the new show, and for Ahmed Best to return to the franchise. Fans young and old (us included) have just one simple question: “Where can we sign up?”In my most challenging times, it was always the smiles and energy of kids that loved #jarjarbjnks who lifted me up. Thank you for this opportunity to give back to them. #starwars #jeditemplechallenge #StarWarsTheRiseOfSkywalker https://t.co/r7076cuAKV

While a May 4th release date would have been ideal (we don't have to tell you why), THR reports that the series is set to debut in Fall 2020, and the exciting concept definitely sounds like it'll be worth the wait. No word yet on whether Baby Yoda will make an appearance... but we'll be tuning in to find out.[video_embed id='1843388']RELATED: The 'Star Wars' cast reflect on the emotional final days[/video_embed]So does a 25 year old man qualify as a kid or where are we drawing the line?
