Let’s be real: you don’t want to play hide-and-seek with James Corden or Ashton Kutcher. Oh, you think you can top the man who invented "Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts"? You think you can outsmart the man (the myth, the legend…) behind Punk’d? Baby, you’re messing with the two game MASTERS. It’s their game world, we’re just living in it.On Tuesday night, after K-Pop sensation BTS performed “Black Swan” on The Late Late Show (weekdays at 12:37 a.m. ET on CTV), naturally the two biggest pranksters in Hollywood wanted to play a little game with the seven members (each of whom we can confidently say is the “cute one”). Hide-and-seek with BTS: it’s a stroke of genius. The rules are simple: the seven boys can hide anywhere in James’ studio, and he and Ashton have to find them. The first person to find four members wins. Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy, right? If you think so, you don’t know BTS. Them boys be clever.
The house band struck up a jazzy tune while James and Ashton ran about the studio like they were on fire. Ashton's crawling on the floor; James is running backstage; Ashton's doing parkour over a banister. Dang, we applaud this level of commitment. But BTS proved to be an elusive bunch. Not surprising, seeing as how they elicit such a strong response from fans every day on the street à la Beatlemania, they're probably experts at running and hiding by now. But Ashton and James are so determined—they collect BTS members as if they were collecting Pokémon.[video_embed id='1751695']RELATED: K-Pop sensation BTS take a break from the limelight to ‘enjoy life’[/video_embed]Namjoon's hiding behind a curtain! Sneaky. One down. Junkook is pretending to be the cameraman! Got 'em. The cutest moment has to be when Ashton found Seokjin hiding in the photobooth in the green room, ripping the curtain back and surprising the poor kid like his hand was in the cookie jar. Ashton then throws Seokjin over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, and runs back like he’s just found a pot of gold. It's likely any member of the BTS Army would do exactly the same thing if they happened upon a member like that. Sigh.In the end, James was the first to find four (with a little help from the audience...), and we all learned a valuable BTS lesson: John Cena might really have his work cut out for him if he's serious about becoming their body guard.Watch The Late Late Show with James Corden weekdays at 12:37 a.m. ET on CTV.[video_embed id='1886566']Justin Bieber's look-alike is forging his own path[/video_embed]
