Dr. Bashir “Bash” Hamed (Hamza Haq) and the crew at York Memorial Hospital are back with more drama and new doctors this fall. CTV just announced that Transplant will return for season three Friday, September 23 at 9pm ET/PT.
The new season also brings a new star -- Yellowjackets' Rekha Sharma joins the cast as Dr. Neeta Devi. Dr. Devi is York Memorial's new Chief of Emergency Medicine (replacing John Hannah's Dr. Jed Bishop) who comes in hot with a lot of "big ideas" for the department.
In season 3, Bash continues his journey to find his footing in his adopted country of Canada, including pursuing citizenship for himself and his younger sister Amira. He also grapples with the still-constant pressure to prove himself at work in addition to the complications in his personal life. The whole team is also left reeling from the conclusion of season 2 as they try to move forward and adapt to the changes at the hospital in the fallout.
Returning cast include Laurence Leboeuf as Dr. Magalie “Mags” Leblanc; Ayisha Issa as Dr. June Curtis; Jim Watson as Dr. Theo Hunter; Sirena Gulamgaus as Amira Hamed; Torri Higginson as Claire Malone; Kenny Wong as Arnold De Luca; Sugith Varughese as Dr. Aajay Singh; and Gord Rand as Dr. Mark Novak.
Season three will consist of 13 one-hour episodes and will premiere September 23 at 9 pm ET on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app.
You can watch previous seasons of Transplant on Crave, CTV.ca and the CTV App.
