The Knockouts have officially become our favourite round on this season of The Voice (Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on CTV) and it has everything to do with mega-mentor Snoop Dogg.

Snoop dee oh double gee presented a masterclass to each contestant, expertly advising them on how to tweak their performance to get the best results, whether it was a stronger ending, a spoken note or simply giving them more confidence. We need to start every day thinking "What Snoop would tell us to do?" and then go out and be awesome.

Only Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton had steals left going into Monday’s final Knockouts before live shows begin. Monday’s episode also included the Four-Way Knockout, with performances from all four artists who were saved during the Battle Round.

ANNA GRACE V. GIHANNA ZOE – TEAM KELLY

Winner: Gihanna Zoe

Stolen: Anna Grace by Team Blake

Blake said it best when he opened the coaches' critique period by announcing “Man, this is not going to be a fun one for you, Kelly.” The Knockout Rounds are the coaches' last chance to strengthen their teams and try to make them as varied as possible, which in this case means putting two powerhouse pop vocalists together and seeing which one rises to the top. But what happens when they both rise?

Anna Grace gave an emotional and nuanced performance of “If I Die Young,” while Gihanna Zoe also brought the emotion along with her stunning range on Pink’s “Glitter In the Wind.” Blake loved Anna’s cool vocals, but quickly added that there’s nothing Gihanna can’t sing. “The sky is the limit for you.”

Nick applauded Anna Grace for making the well-known ballad her own, but picked Gihanna as the winner, commenting that she has consistently shown up with a new skill set each week.

Anna’s falsetto runs gave John chills, while Ghianna’s performance had Legend demanding to see the birth certificate. Terrifying US politicial flashbacks aside, we get why John doesn’t think Ghianna can be so confident and so talented at only 17.

Giving herself a difficult decision, Kelly made her fandom for both singers clear. Kelly picked Gihanna, but Anna is sticking around on Team Blake.

RACHEL MAC V. ZAE ROMEO

Winner: Rachel Mac

Stolen: Zae Romeo by Team Kelly

Rachel Mac brought the emotion and the '90s with her cover of Jewel’s “Foolish Games” (forgot what a killer song this was) and delivered the soaring notes she needed to get a standing ovation from her coach.

Zae Romeo was inspired by his grandparent’s sweet love story and chose “Electric Love” for his performance. Making his flawless vocals look effortless, Zae had Kelly on her feet and John's hands in the air.

John said he felt Zae’s performance and liked that he was showing more of his personality. Kelly was stunned by Rachel’s vibrato and tone. She called Zae’s performance incredible and like John, she also picked Zae as the winner.

Blake complimented Nick on his ability to continually pull better performances out of Rachel. As for Zae, Blake noted that being a four-chair turn means the bar has already been set impossibly high.

Nick said Monday’s performance was the best he’s ever heard from Zae, but agreed that Rachel is continuing to improve with each round. Nick picked Rachel as his dark horse winner, but thankfully this isn’t the end of Zae, who was immediately stolen by Kelly.

FOUR-WAY KNOCKOUT

EMMA CAROLINE – TEAM BLAKE

Emma Caroline stayed in her country lane with “Neon Moon” and once again delivered a solid vocal performance. The coach’s biggest critique of Emma Caroline has been her physical performance on stage. Emma Caroline finally let go and, though some nerves were still present, she showed a large improvement. Plus, that voice is so darn pretty.

DEVAN BLAKE JONES – TEAM NICK

Devan Blake Jones set himself up with a massive task by taking on Harry Styles’ “Sign of the Times” and soared. He was able to handle the falsetto and the big notes, plus he threw in the smoothest spin we’ve seen all season. A few pitchy moments aside, it doesn’t get much more entertaining than Devan.

CAROLINA RIAL – TEAM LEGEND

Carolina Rial took on Demi Lovato’s “Anyone” and was already in tears during her rehearsal with coach John and Snoop Dogg, who were also visibly moved. Carolina managed to bring the same passion to the big stage, taking on the behemoth song and delivering on every single note. If Carolina doesn’t take the final spots in the Knockouts, it’s not from a lack of sheer talent.

SAVANNA WOODS – TEAM KELLY

And now for something totally different. Will viewers vote for Soundgarden? We don’t know, but what we do know is that Savannah Woods sang the heck out of “Black Hole Sun.” Can we get that on vinyl, like, yesterday? Someone get us our flannel -- grunge is back and we’ve missed it.
