Here's what to expect (and what not to) from KUWTK's final season

Babies! Divorce! A Wedding??

E! E!

After 14 seasons, three weddings, several divorces, ten babies and countless tear-filled family meltdowns, the KarJenners are saying goodbye to the reality show that made them a household name. The final season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians (Thursdays at 8pET on E!) kicks off on Thursday, March 18th, and given all that’s happened in the past year, you know it’s going to be a good one.

Make like it’s Palm Springs, pour yourself a Kris Jenner-approved cocktail and get comfortable on the couch — quarantine has not stopped the drama, and we’re ready for it. Here’s what we think you’ll see — and not see — on season 20 of KUWTK.

Kimye falls apart

Last season, we saw Kim managing her busy brood while husband Kanye recovered from COVID-19 in their home. Since then, a lot has happened: Kanye ran for president (and lost) shortly after tweeting a series of intimate details about his marriage. Kim flew dozens of people to a private island to celebrate her 40th birthday during a pandemic, and Kanye gifted her with a hologram of her dead father giving him compliments. Kanye struggled with his mental health, and Kim was publicly supportive (a genuinely good thing). Oh, and they spent some time visiting their fourteen gorgeous Friesian horses in Wyoming.

While it’s clear that this season was filmed during the unraveling of their marriage and Kim’s storyline is sure to focus on that, what we don’t expect to see is much of Kanye. It’s been said that he and Kim have been living separate lives for months and even at the best of times, he’s avoided KUWTK cameras.

Kim officially filed for divorce in February, so expect to see the lead up to that decision and her family’s take on the situation.

Kourtney and Scott lay everything on the table

Kourt and the great Lord Disick are meant to be together, obviously, but the eldest Kardashian never seems to be on board with her ex’s attempts at reconciliation. Fair enough — Kourtney is a grown woman who shouldn’t be bullied into getting back together with anyone — but if she’s over it, can someone please tell Scott?

Not only is he seen professing his love for Kourtney in multiple preview clips, there’s talk of a proposal and more babies. That’s serious stuff, especially with three (existing, real life) children involved.

Knowing that Scott is now dating a 19-year-old model and Kourtney is in a relationship with Travis Barker, we don’t expect to see wedding bells for these two (at least not yet). We’ll probably find out why, but not before they tease us with a potential reunion for a few episodes.

Kendall gets personal (and talks babies!)

We all know that supermodel Kendall is the chill, super private, sometimes-single sister with zero children, but suddenly, she wants babies — and soon! WHAT IS HAPPENING? Who drugged and/or brainwashed Kendall?! (It was definitely Kris.)

That said, don’t expect to see Kendall settle down. They might have gotten her to reveal a bit more of herself in season 20, but you know that girl is a vault compared to the others.

Kylie has big news

Kylie has a secret! Or at least, Mama Kris is really excited about something. In a preview, Kris is seen happily embracing Kylie while screaming, “I love you!” as Corey and Khloe jump in excitement. So, does the youngest sibling have big news? COULD IT BE A BABY? Or another lip kit, which is sort of like a baby? Or is this just clever editing to make us forget that Kylie is the boring sister nowadays? (Sorry, Kylie — we like you, but aside from that time you hit Kendall in the neck with your shoe last season, you haven’t done much lately.)

What we don’t expect to see is much about Kylie and Travis, who seem to be keeping their on-and-off relationship out of the spotlight. Cheers to positive co-parenting, though.

Khloe has another baby (maybe, probably)

Someone has to have a baby during the final season, right? It’s definitely part of that deal Kris Jenner made with the devil back in 2005. So, who’s expecting in 2021? It’s not going to be Kim, it’s almost definitely not Kourtney and we don’t think it’s Kylie or Kendall. That leaves Khloe, who totally wants another child and recently got back together with Tristan.

We’ve even seen footage of them discussing IVF, surrogacy and other baby-making options. So is she pregnant?! We don’t know. Will they have another baby, one way or another? We totally think so.

What we probably won’t see is much mention of is Jordyn Woods or the cheating scandal that resulted in their initial breakup — especially if another baby is on the way and Tristan is the father. Instead, expect to see Khloe make some tough decisions about the future while continuing to build her family.

No matter where this season takes us, it’s bound to feel nostalgic. From heartfelt conversations to the most iconic, meme-able moments between the sisters (Kim, there’s people that are dying) we are going to miss everything about this ridiculous family.
