It was night four of the Blind Auditions on Tuesday’s episode of The Voice (Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm ET on CTV) and the teams are beginning to take shape, with Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, John Legend and Nick Jonas all with only a few spots left.

Tuesday’s performances included a few rockers, a teen singing sensation and one contestant who proved Blake Shelton was a man of his word. Unfortunately for the contestant, that meant he missed out on the fun light show that comes from a four-chair turn.

Check out the best moments from Tuesday’s episode and sob along with us.

DEION WARREN – TEAM LEGEND

Deion Warren and his stunning cover of “Shallow” should have been an easy four-chair turn, but Blake didn’t hit his button. Instead, he stayed true to his promise to Cam Anthony that he would keep the R&B lane open on his team. It was a promise that swayed Cam from picking Nick at the time and it seems the cowboy knows how important it is to keep your word. That left Nick, John and Kelly to enter a battle royale for Deion, who made an Oscar-winning Lady Gaga song sound easy. There are no easy Lady Gaga songs.

Nick said he felt emotionally connected to Deion and believes the pair can make it to the finale together. John praised Deion for picking a song that was outside his genre and making it his own. “It takes skill to pull that off. It takes musicianship, it takes artistry and you showed us all of that.”

Kelly said she also thinks she can help Deion get to the finale and advised him to pick someone who has won a vocal competition. It took four episodes before Kelly brought up her American Idol win, which may be a new record. That’s what happens when you do a million other amazing things after starting your career at the top.

CONNOR CHRISTIAN – TEAM BLAKE

Rocker Connor Christian scored three chair turns late in his set, with John as the only coach who missed his button.

“You’re in a lane all by yourself and I would love to be your coach,” said Kelly, who was digging Connor’s high energy performance and blues vibe, two things that typically don’t go together. “We have people that come up here and sing rock and then we have people who just rock,” said Blake, whose clever play on words earned a smile from Connor and a snort from Kelly. “If we get this right, we can go a long way,” added Nick. No wordplay, but still a good attempt.

The three-way pitch was interrupted by a quick visit from Connor’s very supportive parents, who said that if their son got a chair turn, they would give their blessing for a tattoo. So, does this mean he gets three? He’ll have to ask his new coach Blake, who rocks.

BRADLEY SINCLAIR – TEAM NICK

Bradley Sinclair doesn’t know your Apple password, but he does know how to sing with a lot of emotion. The self-declared tech nerd performed James Arthur’s “Say You Won’t Let Go” and flipped between Arthur’s version and Bradley’s own twist.

“I love your voice, I love the passion in it,” said Kelly, who pointed out that she was the first to turn. “When you were being yourself,” said Nick, “it felt really good.” Bradley countered Nick’s offer to be on his team with a request to sing old school Jonas Brothers, which according to Blake was only three years ago.

It’s tough to beat the love fans have for JoBros.

GIHANNA ZOE – TEAM KELLY

At 17, Gihanna Zoe is one of the youngest performers this season, but still showed an impressive amount of talent that made her sound like a seasoned pro. Gihanna did have a few shaky moments at the beginning, which John noted.

Kelly also touched on Gihanna’s nerves, because again, 17, but was still the first coach to turn her chair. “I think we would be a good fit and I was really impressed by you,” said Kelly. Nick also turned his chair, telling Gihanna “When you soar in those high notes it sounds really nuanced.” Like we said, it’s tough to beat a JoBro, but Kelly took the W this time.
