This week saw the final night of Blind Auditions on Season 20 of The Voice (Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on CTV) and the coaches started fighting dirty to round out their teams. JK, it’s been a hilariously dirty fight all season.

Blake Shelton, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and Nick Jonas all gave their best pitches to secure the strongest team possible, even if in some cases that meant accusing each other of getting former coaches fired. If Kelly is Khaleesi, that means Blake is Jon Snow, who knows nothing.

KEEGAN FERRELL – TEAM BLAKE

Keegan Ferrell got the attention of Kelly and Blake with his beautiful cover of Maroon 5’s “She Will Be Loved.” Wasting no time pointing out that he’s friends with Adam Levine, Blake got to work discrediting Kelly.

“I want you to take a look at who is missing and who is in that chair. Now, I’m not saying Kelly Clarkson got Adam fired, but he’s gone and she’s sitting there,” said Blake. “I would love to be that powerful,” added Kelly.

“If Maroon 5 inspires you, I don’t know that I would choose a coach that is their arch nemesis,” continued Blake, prompting Kelly to remind Keegan and the rest of the world that she previously toured with the band. “Okay, fine. I’ll be Khaleesi,” said Kelly.

Eventually, the coaches got around to actually praising Keegan for his emotional and confident delivery. “You’ve got a great voice, it’s so smooth,” said Blake. “There’s no one like you on my team and I don’t want to overstep my bounds, but there is somebody a lot like you on Kelly’s team.”

Relishing in the opportunity to not have to prove her country cred for once, Kelly reminded Keegan that she is a bona fide pop star. “I know, love and breathe pop music and have for a long time, like 20 years” said Kelly. “I really feel like we would be a great team together and that’s why I turned around lightyears before Shelton,” she continued. “This is my lane.”

Getting in one final jab, Blake said she was scared to turn around at the risk of Kelly firing him. It looks like Keegan was worth getting fired.

DENISHA DALTON – TEAM LEGEND

Blake being the first coach to turn for Denisha Dalton's cover of Zayn’s “Pillowtalk” would not have been our initial guess, but it looks like the cowboy has learned a lot about R&B after 20 seasons on The Voice. John and Kelly were quick to turn after Blake, much to the country singer’s dismay.

“You have so much sass, I love how sultry your tone was, how you have a little bit of rasp,” said Kelly. “Then turning around and watching you was like a whole other experience.”

“Whatever that little break thing is that you’ve invented – priceless. It’s like a quick one-second falsetto move and then you’re right back into your full voice again,” said Blake, who offered Denisha the final spot on his team. “You would cap off an incredible season for me.”

Denisha revealed the pair had already met backstage at a show in Nashville when Blake performed with former coach Usher. “She went there as a Blake Shelton fan,” joked John.

“I felt even before I turned around that you are fearless. What you did felt so authentically you,” said John, who added that Denisha’s style is infectious. “I would love for you to be the last person on my team.” Denisha made her choice, now it’s time to win The Voice. We will be sad to not hear anymore of John’s original songs.

AWARI – TEAM NICK

Single dad Awari had no problem setting the mood with his cover of SWV’s “Weak,” which earned him a chair turn from Kelly and Nick and a lot of heartbreak from John, who was out of room on his team.

“Awari, that was phenomenal. I’m just thinking through all the fun we could have dipping into the classic R&B soul stuff,” said Nick. “That also happens to be one of my wife’s favourite songs ever, so she would be very happy if you picked me.” Teasing his new solo album Spaceman, Nick added that he was working on new music that had an R&B feel. “I would love to make a lot of noise with you.”

Kelly praised Awari’s effortless runs and his song choice, which is begging for a "couple’s only" spin around the roller rink. Kelly reminded Awari that not only has she won a singing competition as a singer, but also as a coach. Kelly pushed her shiny jacket, but Nick could be looking for a backup singer for his new album. It was a tough choice but Awari went for the chance to be the next Jonas Bro.

AINAE – TEAM KELLY

The final spot of Season 20 went to R&B singer Ainae, who delivered a sweet and soulful version of Daniel Caesar’s “Best Part."

“My team is full and I was regretting it the whole time,” said John. “I love the tone of your voice. It reminds me of Minnie Ripperton and you seemed like you were being free with the song and taking chances.”

“I’m so excited I don’t have to fight John for you because I feel like I would have definitely lost,” said a very relieved Kelly, who added that she felt like Ainae also had Jhene Aiko vibes. “You live in a more ethereal place. It takes so much air to do what you just did and I love that because that means you’re a competitor and you’re ready to go .” Season 20, let’s go.
