'Southern Charm' star Madison LeCroy sparks cheating speculation with ARod

If you weren't familiar with Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy before, you likely are now with her having revealed on a recent episode of the Bravo reality series that she had a flirtation with Alex Rodriguez – during his ongoing relationship with Jennifer Lopez.

During the series' reunion episode this past week, co-star Craig Conover claimed LeCroy once “flew to Miami to f–k an ex-MLB player.” She denied his claims, saying, “Give me a name! Put me on a lie detector test. I never flew to Miami. Where’s the record of that? That’s fake.”

She did, say, however, that "he contacted me and, yes, we DM’d, but other than that, there was nothing. I’ve never physically seen him, touched him.”

Rodriguez began dating Lopez in 2017, and the famous pair have been engaged since March 2019.

Still, the detective work began and rumours were lit suggesting Rodriguez was the man in question, as he has a home in Miami and once favourited a photo of LeCroy's on Instagram.

Adding even more fuel to the fire, on Wednesday's episode of the Reality Life With Kate Casey podcast, yet another of LeCroy's co-stars got loose lips.

“Months before that I had heard, like, she had even told me that they were FaceTiming or something,” Southern Charm's Danni Baird revealed. “I had just assumed. I never asked more about it or anything like that. I just kind of forgot about it. It just didn’t tie in that he was a Major League Baseball player.

In an effort to clear things up, LeCroy said to Page Six on Wednesday that she and Rodriguez have "never met up" – but they have "spoken on the phone."

“That’s the truth,” she said, adding that they’ve “never been physical...never had any kind of anything. Just an acquaintance. He’s never physically cheated on his fiancée with me."

LeCroy said the alleged calls happened a year ago, and she’s “talked to him randomly, but not consistent.” She declined to share what their calls were about, saying, "I have tried to be as quiet as possible. I don't want anything bad for his family, or for mine. We are definitely innocent in this."

These aren't the first headlines to be made by the notoriously messy LeCroy this month. Just weeks ago, she was linked to former quarterback Jay Cutler, after he ended his seven-year marriage to reality star Kristin Cavallari in April 2020, and with whom he has three children. Cavallari was rumoured to be dating LeCroy's ex Austen Kroll, as well, because who knows drama better than a reality star?

LeCroy then engaged in a public feud with Cutler and Cavallari, mocking the couple on social media and posting texts between herself and Cutler revealing they were indeed a pair for some time.

Rodriguez, who probably never imagined being dragged into Bravo drama, has yet to comment on the situation.
