If you haven’t seen the first season of Euphoria yet, our only question is: what in Zendaya’s world are you waiting for? It is as simple as this: the hype is real; it is legitimately one of the best shows currently streaming. While 2020 robbed us of the much-anticipated second season, what creator Sam Levinson has given us in exchange has been nothing short of excellence. Euphoria: "Trouble Don't Last Always" - Part 1: Rue was a master class in dialogue-driven entertainment. Dropping this weekend is the follow-up, Euphoria: "F*** Anyone Who's Not a Sea Blob" - Part 2: Jules, the second and sadly the last of Levinson's special episodes. Sigh.
Overall, the series follows a group of high school students as they navigate love, drugs, sex, identity and trauma. However, the plots for the special episodes have mostly remained hush-hush ahead of release. As far as we can tell by the trailer, Part 2 will likely intimately follow the character Jules, played by the incredible Hunter Schafer, in the aftermath of her leaving Rue at the train station.
Stream Euphoria: "F*** Anyone Who's Not a Sea Blob” - Part 2: Jules on January 22 at 9 PM ET and re-watch Euphoria season one anytime on Crave.
Selena Gomez is having a good start to 2021. A week ago, she dropped her new Spanish single, “De Una Vez,” certified bop, and now she is hitting us with all the wholesome vibes by dropping season two of Selena + Chef. The TV series is an unscripted cooking show filmed from Gomez's home in Los Angeles during quarantine. Each episode features Selena tackling a new recipe and guest stars a different professional chef. Probably the most endearing thing about the series is that Selena can be adorable but a disaster in the kitchen and recipes don't always turn out as planned. In other words: Selena + Chef is one of the most relatable cooking series streaming now.
You can watch the first three episodes of Selena + Chef season two on Crave today, with new episodes dropping every Thursday.
We could be getting ahead of ourselves, but Pete Davison and Judd Apatow are a match we expect to see more of in the future. With a sincere synergy between Apatow's lighthearted, feel-good style of directing and Davison's authentic quirkiness, The King of Staten Island is incredibly charming. Even rough-around-the-edges Boston comedian Bill Burr manages to pull off an endearing performance. Set in, you guessed it, Staten Island, the film takes beats from Davison's real life. It follows a 24-year-old aspiring tattoo artist and high school dropout living with his mother and sister. Ultimately a coming-of-age story, the film is really glued together by how effortlessly funny Davison comes across.
