People had a little bit of trouble with the launch of Disney+, reporting a variety of problems such as app glitches, inability to stream, failure to log-in, and movies just disappearing from the library (gasp!). Not to fear, Jimmy Fallon's got you covered. If you had a hard time trying to watch your favourite Disney classics like
Beauty and the Beast,
The Little Mermaid, or
Pocahontas, Jimmy enlisted literal Disney princess Kristen Bell to cover the entire Disney catalogue from
Aladdin to
Toy Story (sorry, they didn't make it all the way to
Zootopia).Tuesday night on
The Tonight Show (weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on CTV2), the duo performed a comprehensive medley of all our favourite classic Disney songs. Most of them were animated classics but there were a few from live-action movies thrown in there for good measure. We got a taste of musical stylings from beloved films like
Pinocchio,
Mary Poppins,
The Jungle Book,
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and
The Little Mermaid plus smash hits from newer ones like
Toy Story,
Frozen, and
Moana. If you’re worried the sing-a-long might have been a bit sweet and saccharine for your cultivated tastes (snob!), Jimmy and Kristen kept it light and funny. During their rendition of "Bare Necessities" from
The Jungle Book, both of them shook their booties to the groove, while during "Under The Sea" from
The Little Mermaid, Jimmy slayed with his best lighthearted Sebastian impersonation.Moving on to
The Lion King, Kristen passionately pumped a stuffed toy lion over her head while Jimmy did his best intro to "Circle of Life." Oh, we see what you did there, girl. Clever. And Jimmy’s rendition of "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" was sooooooo Elton John-y, it could have been a scene in
Rocketman.
Elton would be proud.
The duo finished off the rocking medley with a raucous, stirringly beautiful performance of "Let it Go" from
Frozen, where glittering snow rained down upon them in a luminous shower. The audience leapt to their feet for a standing O and we imagine we're not the only ones who jumped off our couches to salute them at home. Thank you for your singing service, Kristen and Jimmy.Watch
