The initiative #GlobalGoalLive, will culminate next year — precisely a year from today, in fact — streaming live from concert hubs around the world including New York, Nigeria and cities in Latin America, Europe and Asia.Unlike other mega-festivals that boast a steep cost of entry (cough cough, Coachella) Global Citizen Festival is free. No really, you read that right, it’s free. There is a small catch, but it’s pretty awesome in our opinion…Here’s how it works: Free entry is granted to any global citizens who take a series of actions to create lasting change around the world. Winners are drawn and granted two tickets to the highly anticipated affair. Pretty cool, eh?If this has you thinking back to another large-scale, star-studded charity concert, you’re right.
