Justin Timberlake and SZA team up for ‘The Other Side’ from 'Trolls World Tour'

Dreamworks released the first Trolls film in 2016 and grossed $346 million at the box office, scoring an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song for Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling.” The computer-animated film starred Timberlake alongside Anna Kendrick, James Corden, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Zooey Deschanel, Russell Brand, and Gwen Stefani.Timberlake and SZA’s latest collaboration could spell radio and award show gold. In addition to Timberlake’s success with “Can’t Stop The Feeling,” SZA has also receiving some major soundtrack accolades. Her song “All The Stars” with Kendrick Lamar appeared on the 2018 soundtrack for Black Panther and earned a Golden Globe and Oscar nomination for Best Original Song, as well as nominations for Record of the Year and Song of the Year at the 61st Grammy Awards.Timberland and SZA are in good company for the new soundtrack, which also features original songs from Anderson .Paak, Mary J. Blige, Rachel Bloom, Anthony Ramos, George Clinton, Sam Rockwell, and Kelly Clarkson, who also lend their voices to characters. Ozzy Osbourne, Kunal Nayyar, Ron Funches, J Balvin, Icona Pop, and Kenan Thompson are also set to star. The new Trolls film will include the return of Stefani, Corden, Kendrick and Timberlake and follows the trolls as they try to reunite the six genres of music in troll-land before Bloom’s Barb, a hard rock troll, steals the six sacred guitar strings and eliminates all other types of music.
