Romance. Cabello has gone old Hollywood for the Dave Meyers-directed clip, showing off her acting skills and love of wigs in the timeless clip. The video for “My Oh My” has Cabello cast as a Hollywood starlet who is fed up with continually playing the damsel in distress. When Cabello tries to convince the studio heads that she should be the hero for once, her request is met with laughter. Cabello blows off some steam at a party in the Hollywood Hills with DaBaby, who gets an idea after watching the singer take a sword to one of her movie posters. The rapper buys Cabello out of her contract with the movie studio and casts her as the lead in his next film, bringing her life out of black and white and into technicolor.
“My Oh My” marks the fifth time Cabello has teamed up with director Dave Meyers. The pair first made history with Cabello’s massive 2017 hit “Havana,” which had a similar big budget look that let Cabello show off her acting skills as a woman who dreamt she was in her favourite telenovela. The pair worked together again on Cabello’s raw and personal ballad “Consequences,” as well as 2019’s “Liar,” and “Senorita” with Shawn Mendes, which is nominated for Best Music Video at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.[video_embed id='-1']RELATED: Camila Cabello on the first time she performed ‘Señorita’ with Shawn Mendes[/video_embed]Cabello has been busy promoting her latest album since its released in December, including performing at the
