All the winners from the 2020 American Music Awards

The 2020 American Music Awards (see clips on CTV.ca and the CTV app), hosted by Taraji P. Henson, honours our favourite music artists every year, but we also saw Canadian artists dominate the 2020 ceremony. The Weeknd led nominations with eight nods (and delivered on most of them) alongside Roddy Rich. Megan Thee Stallion was  coming in close behind with five noms to her name (after all, she's got two mega collabs in contention—"Savage Remix" with Beyoncé and, of course, "WAP" with Cardi B).Justin Bieber had four nominations and opened the show with Shawn Mendes (who then returned for more in the second half of the night). It was JB's first time performing at the AMAs since 2016 in celebration of the 10th anniversary of his debut. The Weeknd took the stage with legendary saxophonist Kenny G for renditions of "In Your Eyes" and "Save Your Tears."Country duo Dan + Shay will be made their AMA performance debut along with "Some You Loved" singer Lewis Capaldi. Bebe Rexha also took the stage to perform a special rendition of "Baby I'm Jealous" with Doja Cat.In the biggest category of the night, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Post Malone, Roddy Ricch and Taylor Swift all battled it out for Artist of The Year, but Taylor was victorious, giving a virtual thank-you from where she's been re-recording her old music.
