Samuel L. Jackson isn’t just beloved for his acting talents, producing chops, and suave demeanour, he also happens to offer up one of the most recognizable voices on the planet. The kind of voice you could listen to for hours, especially when expletives are involved. And now? Jackson is ready to share his gift with the world… under one condition: You have to register to vote. The actor is known for being rather swear-happy (a charming understatement if you ask us), and it’s no secret that fans love him for it. Never missing a beat, Jackson decided to use that fandom to inspire positive change, offering an "epic, multi-language course" on the art of cursing. A fine art, indeed, and who better to teach it?No one. The answer is no one.On Monday, the 71-year-old star took to Twitter to encourage his followers to make sure they are #GoodToVote. In exchange, he offered to teach them to swear in 15 different languages. Unsurprisingly, the response from fans was immediate and overwhelming. The link included in his tweet took followers over to the voter registration website called HeadCount, which dressed up the page with a brooding picture of Jackson for the occasion. The hope for this initiative, was to encourage more Americans to not only register to vote, but to make a vote plan.[video_embed id='6013597079001']WATCH: Samuel L. Jackson won't stop acting until he can't do it anymore[/video_embed]Yesterday, Jackson returned to the platform to commend his following for "showing up" for the cause and, of course, "hold up his end of the bargain." Outfitted in a T-Shirt that reads "Your Voice Matters" as well as a face mask that features "VOTE" written across it in large lettering, Jackson exclaimed, “Let’s do some cussing! In 15 languages!” The Pulp Fiction star is somewhat of an expert in the realm of colourful language, as a survey reportedly found that Jackson has sworn onscreen over 300 times in his career. The actor’s voice is also famously featured on Alexa, which is reportedly adding 30,000 new Jackson-specific phrases to the platform (due to popular demand).Variety reports that the update will include new jokes, stories, and other content including five times the amount of explicit content. He’s getting Alexa’s first celebrity “wake word,” letting customers say “Hey, Samuel” to invoke Jackson’s iconic baritone voice on Alexa-enabled devices.Oh, and if you ask Alexa – er, we mean, Samuel L. Jackson – to roast you, well… prepare for some (hilarious) F-bombs and a few well-meaning insults to be hurled your way.[video_embed id='1772965']WATCH: 'The Mandalorian' Season 2 trailer[/video_embed]
