Tom Felton and Jason Isaacs had a friendly Death Eater reunion on Instagram

Morsmordre! The Death Eater reunion happened on Instagram this weekend between Tom Felton and Jason Isaacs, and it seems not even a viral pandemic can keep the Malfoys apart. But this time, it was for a good reason: a friendly catch-up and to spread awareness of the British Red Cross and the #PowerOfKindness.The on-screen father and son duo got together after some serious technical difficulties on Felton’s part when he couldn’t figure out the camera. “Look at us, we’re like a pair of old codgers!” the actor said.Felton, 32, a.k.a. Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series, got candid about feeling fear when the “terrible realization that I’m not home with my family” hit after news of multiple world-wide lockdowns had occurred. Isaacs, who played Draco's father, Lucius, tried to keep things light: “We’ve got a house and we’ve got food.” It’s better than some, he said, and Felton agreed: “We’re redefining how we live our lives.”

Then things turned towards Netflix’s new hit docuseries, Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness. Apparently, Felton had a run-in with Joseph Maldonado-Passage (a.k.a. Joe Exotic) while filming in a bar in Oklahoma. Recalling the experience, he said “the owner of the bar was this nutter who walked in with the full-on mullet and the hat and a gun, two guns, I think he had.” Turns out, that “nutter” was Joe Exotic.A far cry from his Lucius Malfoy days, Isaacs has worked alongside the British Red Cross, specifically with the refugee crisis in Italy. It’s apparent the 56-year-old Fury actor feels strongly about a better world. Having two daughters himself, Isaacs expressed hope for a chance for the next generation to “build something better, build something fairer.” Now that’s something we can get behind!The video chat comes just months after Felton posted a pic of himself with fellow Harry Potter castmates, Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom). He teased fans with the misspelled hashtag #gryfindorVSlytherin. That sounds like a throwdown.

In January, Isaacs and Felton got together to celebrate the fourth anniversary of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando. For Felton’s birthday in September, Daddy Malfoy sent a Happy Birthday Insta-post to “Tom the Seeker,” signing it “Bad Dad xx.” How awesome is that?
