Canadian Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith are more than just our favourite married actors; they are also super style-savvy, setting the trend for a cozy and cute holiday season.  J. Crew dropped their new ad campaign starring the couple and the internet has decided no other topics will be discussed today.

This isn’t the Dawson’s Creek alum’s first time posing for the brand—way back in 1998, Jackson and his DC chums posed for the label—something that is heartily referenced in the ad. As the video opens, we see Joshua looking through the old catalogue, and then Jodie draws a heart around his cherubic baby face before blowing him a kiss.

We’re gonna need a minute to let the cuteness wash over us.

As the spot goes on, the two move from a morning scene where they’re dancing in their PJs, drinking coffee, and vacuuming, to giving a series of J. Crew gifts under serving cloches. Then of course, they kiss under the mistletoe.

“Get together,” Joshua says, followed by Jodie chiming in with, “Get creative!”

When the spot, along with the accompanying fashion photoshoot, dropped on the internet, Twitter decided to hold its breath all day long.

The couple—who have been together since 2018, married in 2019, and now have a daughter together born in 2020—have always been a social media favourite, especially since they truly embrace the platform together, and use it to hype each other up. Just this past summer, Joshua was tweeting about just how stunning his wife was, and Jodie quote-tweeted him with a little light-hearted ribbing about his spelling.

It turns out the spot closely resembles their IRL holiday traditions,, with Joshua quoted in the campaign saying, "Tree trimming is big in our house. The bigger the tree, the better," adding that "no holiday is complete without colcannon — Irish mashed potatoes with kale and onion."

Jodie also revealed that she  "always plans matching pajamas for the holidays. Bonus points for ugly sweaters. Not even the dogs are exempt!"

As part of the campaign, the couple also answered some funny questions about their relationship, while poking fun at Joshua’s previous outing as a J. Crew model in the '90s. Noting that the sweater he wore in the campaign was a personal fave of his for years until it fell apart, Jodie quips, “That tracks with his behaviour!”

When Joshua reveals that the ’98 spot was shot before the first season of Dawson’s Creek aired, Jodie jokes that should her and Joshua not work out, Katie Holmes should give her a call.

“Wait, wow, that’s not the direction I saw this going in,” Joshua laughs.

When asked which '90s trend she still loves, Jodie refuses to say her iconic '90s heartthrob husband standing right next to her, much to his chagrin.

Okay, we’re gonna need their cute couple energy in our lives every day.
