The table read goes down on May 18 at 5 p.m. ET on Sony Pictures TV’s Community YouTube Page, and will also feature Q&As with fans that submit their burning questions in advance on social media using #AskCommunity and tagging @CommunityTV. Those same fans are also being asked to donate to two charities: José Andrés World Central Kitchen and Frontline Foods. Both charities are among those helping to get vulnerable communities and frontline workers nourishing meals during the coronavirus pandemic. Sony Pictures Television is also making a contribution on behalf of the show. For those who need a small refresher, Community ran for five seasons on NBC where it was constantly “on the bubble” of being cancelled. The show’s official tagline became, “six seasons and a movie,” which it kind of got when Yahoo picked it up for a sixth season. Community officially wrapped in 2015 with no movie, but with plenty of movie references throughout its very meta, 110 episode run. “Six seasons and a Zoom call” kind of has a nice ring to it, don’t you think? Annie’s Boobs probably would. Either way here’s to more bag-uls and whipped irony for fans everywhere on May 18.[video_embed id='1954204']BEFORE YOU GO: Is it OK to celebrate Adele's weight loss?[/video_embed]To all the students in the back of the class, now is the chance to raise your hand and ask our #Community cast some questions.
