Sarah Paulson has the best response to fans’ Adele look-alike comparisons

In case you missed it (but you probably didn’t since it nearly broke the internet), Adele posted a photo to Instagram for her 32nd birthday in which thanked her fans for the bday love and also gave a heartfelt shoutout to the first-responders and essential workers keeping us safe.In the post, Adele, who has been rather quiet across her social media platforms over the past year, was wearing a form-fitting black dress along with an ear-to-ear smile. And let’s just say, fans and fellow celebrities alike collectively freaked out.But making even more noise, was the fact that many fans thought Adele and Golden Globe-winning actress Sarah Paulson (American Crime Story, 12 Years A Slave) looked alike.

On a recent episode of SiriusXM's EW Live, Paulson addressed the recent conversation regarding her apparent likeness to the Grammy-winning singer. "I was on Twitter and I just happened to be scrolling through and it said Sarah Paulson is trending. I was like, 'Wait, what?’”It's hard not to see that these two beauties definitely share some similarities. According to Paulson, this isn’t the first time fans have pointed out that her Adele bear a strong a resemblance.Paulson said she was flattered by the comparison. "Listen, I'll take it. I mean, what I wish they were comparing was my talent to her talent and saying that mine was as great as hers, which quite honestly they can't say because no one's talent is as great as hers, which is really irritating. But I'll take looking like her. Man, she's a beauty. So, sure. Great. Give it to me. I'll take it."A number of celebrities chimed in on Adele’s post, which nearly went viral almost immediately. Chrissy Teigen wrote, "I mean, are you kidding me?” and Diplo left a simple, “Well ok” comment.
