Robert Pattinson loves a good sheet mask

Celebrities may have access to the best beauty and skincare products in the world, but not even Robert Pattinson can resist the draw of a good sheet mask. The actor and face of the new Dior Homme fragrance campaign spoke to the U.K. edition of GQ about fashion, self care and yes, those amazing yet sometimes creepy home facial treatments. Though we doubt he’s picking them up at the drug store like the rest of us, Pattinson admits that sheet masks are a welcome addition to his winter skincare routine.“It’s very American Psycho, but those sheet masks make a massive difference,” he admitted, noting that his skin suffers in the colder months or when he travels too much. “I’m fully committed and I even put an eye mask on over the top, too.” That may not be the life hack we thought we’d get from the former Edward Cullen, but we're here for it.The actor goes on to extol the importance of downtime. “Self-care is important. I really appreciate coming home even though it's only for a few days, just to give my skin and body a rest.” And what exactly is he doing while home between projects? Obsessively buying pairs of his favourite sneaker, the Palace Skateboards x Adidas Original trainer. “I have alerts on when they’re being sold; I’ll soon own every pair in existence,” he told GQ.

Sneaker addiction aside, it turns out that Pattinson is into somewhat bolder fashion choices than one might expect. While he typically turns to casual wear like jeans and tees at home or a nicely tailored suit on the red carpet, the actor has more risk-taking sartorial aspirations.  “I wish I could dress like A$AP Rocky, he just has serious style,” the star shared. “We have been to quite a few different fittings together and I will see the craziest thing and really want to wear it, but look like a total moron. Then we will go to the show and I will see Rocky in it and be like, ‘Jesus Christ, you can literally wear anything!’”Pattinson appeared in several Harry Potter films before exploding into the zeitgeist thanks to the blockbuster Twilight film franchise. He has since starred in dozens of movies including Water for Elephants, Good Time and last year's The Lighthouse, opting for arthouse fare and interesting projects over a more predictable career path. Pattinson is set to appear in the next Caped Crusader film, The Batman, scheduled for release in 2021.
