Prince Harry has marked his return to the U.K. and made his first public outing since leaving the Royal Family and relocating to Canada with wife Meghan Markle and their son Archie. The Duke of Sussex was in Scotland to discuss a new eco-friendly travel project and the sixth in the line to the British throne made it very clear that he’s not the same Prince Harry who left the UK – now he’s just Harry.Prince, er, just Harry attended the Travalyst event on Wednesday and was introduced by host Ayesha Hazarika, who told those in attendance that the son of Prince Charles and Diana, Princess of Wales was making some big title changes in his new life as a commoner. Or at least, commoner-adjacent. “He’s made it clear that we are all just to call him Harry,” said Hazarika in her introduction for the Duke. “So, ladies and gentlemen, please give a big, warm, Scottish welcome to Harry.” [video_embed id='-1']RELATED: Meghan Markle shares her secret to being happy[/video_embed]The conference was in support of Scotland’s effort to make traveling to their country more eco-friendly and Harry applauded the Scottish government for already helping to “transform the future of tourism and travel.” The 35-year-old continued, saying that “Scotland is one of the fastest-growing tourism destinations worldwide, and it’s at the forefront of a more sustainable approach, which is why your insight into these issues is so incredibly valuable.”Wednesday’s event marked the first public event where Harry made it clear that he was not to be addressed by His Royal Highness, which has preceded his name since birth. Harry and his wife Meghan, who was given the title of Her Royal Highness following the couple’s May 2018 wedding, will still have their HRH status following their exit as full time working members of the Royal Family, but as of March 31, will no longer be able to use the titles publicly. So, just-Harry is simply ahead of schedule. The fiscal year for the Royal Family wraps at the end of March, which this year will double as the date when Harry and Meghan are officially released from their duties as working royals. Before then, the couple will make several trips between the U.K. and their newly adopted home of Canada. Meghan and Harry are expected to attend the Commonwealth Day Service on March 9, a major day for the Royal Family. Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William and Kate, and the Queen are all expected to be in attendance.Harry may no long be using the title of Prince, but he and Meghan will retain their status as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Earl and Countess of Dumbarton and the Baron and Baroness Kilkeel. Harry will also continue to hold his military titles, though he will not use them during the next 12-month period, after which the Royal Family will reevaluate Harry and Meghan’s placement in the monarchy.[video_embed id='-1']Golden Retriever puppy is overly-excited to see her owner[/video_embed]
