Lindsay Lohan is ready for her American comeback

It's been a while since Lindsay Lohan has been in the spotlight, at least for the right reasons. Sure, there was that single she teased in the fall (but didn't officially release), not to mention the promise of more music, but now LiLo is ready to get back to work — stateside.She's had a few irons in the fire over the last year or so, from her reality show in Mykonos to her place on the judging panel of The Masked Singer Australia. While the latter has been picked up for a second season (sans Lohan, who was fired from the show), MTV cancelled Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club after only one season — yet it's only got her wanting more.In fact, Lohan is ready to crush 2020. She currently lives in Oman but she's done living overseas and is planning her return to America. She was interviewed by besties Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen during their New Year's Eve broadcast and the two dug deeper into what lies ahead for the actress. Let's just say Lohan better put on some shades because her future is looking bright.Aside from managing her sister, Ali Lohan, Lindsay revealed that 2020 is going to be all about LiLo. "I want to really focus on me and everything that I can do in my life and come back to America and start filming again, which I'm doing something soon in this new year," she revealed. "And, you know, just taking back the life I've worked so hard for and sharing it with my family and you guys."

Lohan recently starred in the movie Among the Shadows, her first role in a feature film since The Canyons in 2013. And aside from Beach Club and The Masked Singer, she also co-starred on two seasons of Sick Note in the U.K., alongside Rupert Grint and Nick Frost.Cohen, ever the gossip lover, did veer from the work questions to ask Lohan about her personal life. He mentioned that he Googled the Mean Girls star and learned that people really want her to get together with Liam Hemsworth so naturally Andy wanted to know if anything was going on. But LiLo was unfazed by the attempted blindside, and chalked it up to her working in Australia, on the reality competition as well as with the WILD Foundation and Waves of Wellness, and because Hemsworth surfs, they're sometimes linked that way. But nothing salacious to report there.But that would've been kind of amazing, considering Lindsay took a couple shots at both Simpson (who used to date her sister, Ali), and his current girlfriend, Miley Cyrus, after he won the first season of The Masked Singer Australia. Alas, LiLo knows that would've been way too contrived, even for her.There's something about a healthy, determined Lindsay that's hard to resist. It's almost hard not to root for her.
