You can always count on Kristen Bell to keep it real. Sure, she’s a sunny spot to many with her killer comedy and the
Frozen movies, but when it comes to parenting,
anxiety, and her marriage to Dax Shepard, she’s always known how to cut through the BS to tell it like it is. Well, we can now count home schooling as one of those things she’s getting brutally honest about, because she thinks it sucks as much as you do.Bell launched a new at-home episode of her web series #Momsplaining on April 29 in which she shared some of the “joys” of self-isolation, including losing track of time, wearing the same sweatpants over and over again, and of course trying to manage life with her two daughters, Lincoln, 7, and Delta, 5. “Of course, we've all come to know the two worst words in the human language: Home schooling," Bell said at the top of the episode. "There are a few people that have come out victorious in this situation though. Germaphobes, stay-at-home moms, they're all like, ‘I told you how f--cking hard this is.'"
Later on in the episode Bell welcomed her first fifth-season guest, new mom Ashley Graham, and she gave the model a preview of what life would look like for her if she were to home school her own babe down the line. "But doing school work with them, it is absolutely miserable," she said. "When we started this quarantine, the first math worksheet I gave my daughter, in all the answer lines she wrote, ‘No. No. No. No. No.'"On the plus side, at least Bell has Shepard back in the house and helping out with matters. When self-isolation started he had just flown back to Los Angeles from shooting a project, and he had to self-quarantine for 14 days in a friend’s apartment. Although to be fair, Bell also admitted that being in isolation together has probably
caused more fights for her marriage in the long run, so who knows.[video_embed id='1932850']RELATED: Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard aren't exactly getting along in isolation[/video_embed]Sounds like Bell just needs to give herself a friendly reminder that no one can be expected to do it all right now (or ever?), especially when it comes to homework-adverse kids. Fans everywhere would probably agree that these parents are doing a great job with their children—hands up if your kids
emptied their piggy banks to donate to the coronavirus fight? For now, fans—and especially fellow moms—can just enjoy Bell momsplaining it all now that her web series, which is produced by Ellen DeGeneres, is officially back for a fifth season. Here’s hoping for some more real quarantine talk from that mom perspective in the near future.[video_embed id='1944908']Before you go: How to make homeschooling your kids a little easier[/video_embed]
