Nothing yummy about it.

Justin Bieber is a Canadian boy, through and through. He loves his Toronto Maple Leafs and he loves his Tim Hortons coffee. And like many, he doesn't love the new lids at Tim Hortons. So he took his complaint to them — with a quick detour to his fans on Instagram first.Bieber polled his Canadian followers, asking, "Who's Canadian and misses these lids at Tim Hortons like I do," and included a pic of a cup with one of the old lids. He captioned it, "@timhortons I know they could leak but it was easier to drink out of.. the coffee would come out better.. these new lids are uncomfortable on the mouth, and you get very little liquid each drink it's a damn outrage and needs to be changed back." Biebs then added, for good measure, "Tbh it shouldn't be plastic find a way to be recyclable let's change the world 1 lid at a time." The Biebs has spoken, and 70% voted a resounding yes, while the remaining were fine with the new lids. And because it was JB doing the complaining, what with him having 123 million followers and being super-famous and all, Tim Hortons was quick to reply, explaining, "Hey Justin Bieber, thanks for your feedback. Sorry you aren't loving our new lids, but the good news is that they’re made with 100% recyclable plastic. We'd love to have you join our team that's working to make them even better! DM us." Hey, if Shawn Mendes can stump for Tims, so can Justin.
Like one fan wrote, you can take the kid out of Canada but you can't take Canada out of the kid.Speaking of Canadians, Drake added his two cents to the pic of Bieber, his childhood hockey buddies and the Leafs and the rapper couldn't hide his jealousy.
But back to the other issue: the Tims lid debate. It was earlier this year that Tim Hortons made the switch to the more environmentally friendly — and more divisive — lids, with the coffee chain's soon-to-be-exiting global brand president Alex Macedo telling the Canadian Press in 2018, "The only people who are going to be pissed off are dry cleaners and car-washing companies. They will wash fewer shirts and fewer cars." And global superstars, apparently. While Tim Hortons didn't exactly say they would revert back to the old lids, Biebs did manage to get his hands on an old one and was more than happy to show it off. Lucky bugger.
