What’s an evening in quarantine without a nice glass of wine and some adorable cat pics to brighten up your social media feeds? That seems to be a typical evening for Joe Alwyn these days, although as many people have noted from the actor’s latest Instagram stories, the frisky feline he’s posting pictures of looks a heck of a lot like Taylor Swift’s cat Benjamin Button. It seems like fans finally have confirmation that TayTay and Joe-Joe are self-isolating together after all.In a series of photos posted to Instagram stories on April 29, the actor appeared to be spending some quality time with Benjamin as the adorable cat hid in a box and underneath a rug—the same rug that’s been showing up on Swift’s Insta stories, BTW. Although there were no captions on the photos, it’s clear that Alwyn is just as much a fan of the furry friends as his girlfriend is. It’s also the closest they’ve really come to sharing anything about their relationship on social media. Of course, the couple has been getting more and more comfortable in the spotlight together as their relationship progresses. It was just last February that Swift treated Alwyn to dinner at a London restaurant with Ed Sheeran and some other close friends. And then there was the fact that they (sort of) attended the Golden Globes together the month before that. They aren’t hiding their relationship, it’s more like they’ve just decided not to flaunt it—especially considering how much Swift is always in the public eye.“I also was falling in love with someone who had a really wonderfully normal, balanced, grounded life,” Swift shared in her Netflix documentary, Miss Americana, while discussing the impact her feud with Kanye West had on her. “We decided together that we wanted our relationship to be private… Even though it was really horrible, I was really happy,” she continued. “But I wasn't happy in the way that I'd been trained to be happy. It was happiness without anyone else's input. It was just we were happy.”Although Swift has remained pretty quiet about her personal activities during social distancing, she’s been helping out where she can. She appeared on Lady Gaga’s One World: Together At Home concert recently to slay with a rendition of “Soon You’ll Get Better,” and she’s also been donating money to her fans that have been most affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Recently she announced that she’s cancelled the rest of her 2020 tour (because who knows when things will go back to normal), and she also set fans straight about the “new” album release from Big Machine Records that does not have her blessing.Meanwhile, no one should be surprised if Swift winds up taking some time during self-isolation to also dream up catchy new tunes. And considering Alwyn is A-okay with his girlfriend writing music about him, odds are he’ll make an appearance or two. For now, it’s really only a matter of time before the “Lovers” go even more public with their coupledom, and one of them winds up on the other’s Instagram stories for real.[video_embed id='1945859']RELATED: Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun are at it again[/video_embed]
