Jennifer Lopez was spotted at the annual unveiling of Saks Fifth Avenue’s holiday windows in midtown Manhattan wearing a mask alongside husband Alex Rodriguez, and both Keke Palmer and Patti LaBelle participated in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC. But things are different for sure—the annual parade, which is now in its 94th year, usually has thousands of spectators lining the city streets, but this year it was closed to the public and the stars pre-recorded their segments.
Take a look below to see who was out wearing what this week.
It’s been a steamy week for Jenny. First, there was her super sultry performance at the 2020 American Music Awards, and then she went on to release photos of herself wearing nothing but her engagement ring on Insta. At the unveiling of Saks Fifth Avenue’s annual holiday windows in Manhattan, however, she was more covered up. Still, there wasn’t a hair out of place with JLo looking so polished in a plum wool trench and oversized sunnies and Alex in grey trousers and an overcoat.
The designer and her kids were out in LA’s Skid Row neighbourhood serving Thanksgiving dinner to some of the residents. Kimora was in basic denim and a white tee, and of course completed the look with a face mask from her Baby Phat clothing line.
Keke was part of the 94th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and while the event was way different from usual, that didn’t stop the actress from looking ready for the holiday season in suede heeled boots, a tan trench and enormous fluffy earmuffs.
The Victoria’s Secret angel gets my vote for Coziest Look of the Week. The matching blush pink oversized turtleneck sweatshirt and leggings are definitely the kind of thing I like to wear between now and when the snow melts in April.
No white after Labour Day is such a dated fashion faux pas and clearly Kendall knows it. This white on white on white fit looks so fresh in 2020, especially with those leather lace-ups.
Justine actually met up with Kendall in Manhattan this week, and her lowkey look of indigo leggings, an oversize white hoodie and black leather was the perfect fit for a casual get together with someone who I’ve got to assume is in her social bubble.
Like Keke Palmer, songstress and fashion icon Patti LaBelle also participated in this year’s Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (all safely recorded and then broadcast). The 76-year-old gave off total '70s vibes in an ultra long coat that hit at the ankles and was embellished with colourful stripes and faux fur trim.
This look on Hailey is pure fire and it makes me nostalgic for a life when I was allowed to go out to busy restaurants and meet up with friends. The lacquered-like leggings, the heels, the leather bomber… I miss wearing my nice clothes, and looks like Hailey did, too.
Bella’s really been channelling the '90s through her fashion choices as of late. She was spotted in Tribeca this week in something that looks straight out of a dELiA*s ad (if you know, you know).
Bella wasn’t the only one channelling the '90s. Marky Mark also looked like a walking ad for the decade past in a dusty green cotton crewneck and white chinos worn with lace-up skate shoes.
Actress Whitney Peak has been spotted all around New York this month as she’s filming the new Gossip Girl. I can’t lie, I’m super stoked to meet the new students of Constance Billard School for Girls.
The former Disney star was getting some shopping done at a mall in LA this week. I’m all for supporting small businesses during the pandemic, but going into a physical mall seems v unnecessary. Cute sports bra and legging set though.
If Sofia’s coat doesn’t make you desperate for some bright red outerwear of your own, I don’t know what will. This piece is incredible and looked on point at the pre-filming of the Macy’s Parade segment that she participated in.
A silk kimono isn’t something the stars back east are sporting these days, but in LA its forever summer and Vanessa looked totally appropriate while heading to her car.
Nicky was in total mom mode with her girls this week and the trio looked cute as little buttons out for a stroll in New York. The heiress’ red plaid coat looked cozy chic and the long chain bag thrown over her shoulder was a nice touch.
