Yep, Oprah Winfrey has sent her long-time partner, Stedman Graham, to the guest house for quarantine. In an Instagram Live chat with The Oprah Magazine 's digital director, Arianna Davis, the entrepreneur got real about her man's quarantine in her guest house. Stedman Graham, who has been in a relationship with Lady O for over 30 years, can be seen in the video leaning out of the window as Oprah, of course, kept her distance and, “How ya doin’?” “Meals are dropped off,” he replies.Last year, Oprah suffered a “serious” bought of pneumonia and just last week, she finished a round of antibiotics due to a bronchial infection. “As Stedman had been travelling for business the past few weeks,” she says. “He asked, ‘what’s the procedure?’” In the bold way we love her for, Oprah said, “You ain’t coming and sleeping in my bed!” Yep, she relegated him to the guest house.

Oprah admitted her partner is one of those who is “late to the party” about the seriousness of the COVID-19 pandemic. She said he told her, “‘I don’t see what everybody’s getting so upset about!’ And that’s why Stedman’s in the guest house!” she told the magazine’s almost 1M Instagram followers.[video_embed id='1926962']RELATED: Idris Elba opens up to Oprah about coronavirus diagnosis[/video_embed]But rest assured, Stedman’s okay. Neither of them have contracted the virus or are showing any symptoms. The guest house measure is just a “precaution.” Oprah and her “daughters” have been bringing him daily meals, leaving them at the door of the separate abode. She and Stedman have also been having daily “love chats” from outside the window. He’s not upset though, the 64-year-old said. “He’s happy to keep me safe.” Aw, l’amour! As for herself, the Selma actress said she’s enjoying her guilt-free solo-time. “I’m never bored,” she said. “Because I always have myself.” She’s been keeping busy with her “daughters” from the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls (OWLAG), making pancakes, reading and binge-watching. On Saturday night, she attended a FaceTime party hosted by DJ D-Nice. Also in attendance at the star-studded virtual gathering were Michelle Obama, Joe Biden and Rihanna. Um, can we come next time? For Winfrey, physical distancing isn’t just about sending your partner to the guest house. It’s about perspective. Winfrey did have some solid advice during this time: “You will come out stronger if you actually get the lessons from it. If you think it’s just about a virus…it’s not.” And when it comes to her “love chats” with Stedman, she said she’s “looking at it from the bigger picture.”It seems like a good time for an inspirational reminder courtesy of the Mighty O.[video_embed id='1927602']RELATED: Michelle Obama shares with Ellen how the family is self-isolating[/video_embed]
