Gwyneth Paltrow celebrates 48 with birthday suit shot

What better way to celebrate your birthday than in your birthday suit? Gwyneth Paltrow certainly felt like the day was as good as any to show off what her mama gave her, and so she posed nude and shared the snap on Instagram.Yup, the Goop founder turned 48 years old on September 27, and with the help of her husband, Brad Falchuk, she proved that aging gracefully is indeed a thing by posing playfully in front of a tree in the yard. Her lady bits were respectfully hidden thanks to a well-placed arm and thigh, but the photo definitely doesn’t leave too much to the imagination. “In nothing but my birthday suit today... thank you all so much for the birthday wishes and thank you to @goop ‘s insanely amazing brand new body butter for making me think I can still get my kit off,” she wrote.

Naturally the photo got lots and lots of attention, with everyone from Ashley Graham and Jessica Capshaw to Charlize Theron, Josh Gad, Paris Hilton, Olivia Wilde, Demi Moore, and Sophie Turner sending along their own birthday love. “HBD GP! Love this low profile way to celebrate,” wrote Katy Perry. So what did Paltrow’s two kids think of the money shot? While the weekend may have been spent celebrating Paltrow’s birthday, the couple have another celebratory milestone coming up this week: on September 29 they celebrate their two-year anniversary. The pair got hitched in a Hamptons ceremony in 2018, so this year officially marks the end of their “newlywed” phase.
