But then there are the South Africa and safari pics. On March 1, Dobrev shared a snap of herself taking in the morning view at the top of Lion Heads Mountain in Capetown, South Africa. Showing off her flexibility, Dobrev posted four pictures, including one of the Vampire Diaries star doing the splits across two rocks.
White posted a Boomerang on his Instagram account a few days prior to Dobrev’s album in what looks like the same location. It’s possible that the pair purposely spaced out their posts so as not to draw attention. But we were paying attention.
Adding more credence to the romance rumours, White shared some pictures from his time on safari in South Africa, including a picture of the Olympian posing at sunset.View this post on Instagram
White’s safari backdrop looks awfully similar to Dobrev’s safari picture that she posted on March 19, noting that she took the trip ‘a few weeks ago.’ As in, the end of February? When Shaun White took the same trip? You must be lion if you think we’re not already shipping this couple.
Prior to the North American outbreak of COVID-19, Dobrev was busy promoting the Rob Ford drama Run This Town. The actor returned to her hometown of Toronto to shoot the film, which co-stars Mena Massoud, Ben Platt, and an unrecognizable Damian Lewis as the late politician.Dobrev has also been practicing physical distancing and updating her 19.2 million followers with tips on how they can stay safe during the pandemic and where they can donate to help those affected, including Feed America and Global Citizen. Dobrev is also using her platform to show the effects of COVID-19. On March 24, the actor teamed up with her friend Erica Barstein, who has tested positive. Dobrev and Barstein filmed an Instagram Live in an effort to answer questions about COVID-19 and act as a reminder that young people can also be infected.
