Back in the day, Keanu Reeves and Drew Barrymore starred in the "obscure masterpiece" Babes In Toyland. In 1986, Keanu and Drew were still growing up in the movie industry, and they kept in contact after the movie wrapped. Recently, Drew recalled how, at her sixteenth birthday, Keanu gave her an experience she never could forget—he took her on a joyride on the back of his motorcycle through Los Angeles. We love this for her.

"I was at this club and it was my 16th birthday and you came in," Drew recounted to Keanu during his appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show this week. "This is the memory I have of it: you walked in and you grabbed my hand and you took me outside and you put me on your motorcycle."

"Oh my," Keanu deadpanned, and we know there's more concern than excitement in those words, considering how many motorcycle accidents the Matrix star has been in.

"We drove at the warp speed of my life!" Drew continued, caught up in the memory, getting to her feet and taking Keanu by the hand. "We went and you took me on the ride of my life and I was so free!"

"I was such a free human being," she recalled. "And it was just this moment where I just remember loving life and being so happy."

"I hold it so dear because the older we get, the harder it is to get to that feeling."

We need that feeling also, Keanu, do you do motorcycle tours? Take our money!

"I wonder where I took you!" Keanu said, pondering the 35-year-old memory. "Mulholland Drive?"

As Drew tells it, they went speeding down 3rd avenue in L.A., and she can't even remember if, when he dropped her back at the party, he came back inside the club, because she was already on Cloud 9 with the A Walk In The Clouds star.

Saying she walked back to her party with a skip in her step, Drew added, "I'm now realizing you can't have a better Sweet 16 than being put on your motorcycle and having the moment where you understand what freedom is."

This isn't the first time the Charlie's Angels star has recounted this memory. Last year, on her talk show, Drew spoke about the memory with the voice cast of the latest Spongebob movie, saying, "He showed up at my 16th birthday party and took me on a motorcycle ride I will never forget. We just blasted through the streets. It was at night and the streets were empty, and it was one of those moments where I’ll never forget it."

The interview was full of other jump-out-of-your-chair moments, literally. Keanu literally bolted up after Drew said she was a lover, not a fighter. "If you don't fight for your love, what kind of love do you have?" he deadpanned before the audience, and Drew erupted in chaos.
