Clearly, Constance Wu and Meghan Markle both got the memo about burgundy monochromatic fits. There’s something so refined about the rich wine hue and when you see it on an actress like Constance, who’s known to dress like a princess on the red carpet, and then on an actual royalty, like Megan Markle, you just know it's a trend that’s going to stick. It’s so wearable.

Not only did the pair sport super similar fits, but both Constance and Meghan happened to be in New York this week, too. Constance is in town filming Lyle, Lyle Crocodile, the 1965 children’s book adaptation, alongside Javier Bardem, while Meghan was on a whirlwind trip in the Big Apple with Prince Harry at her side.

Other stars are switching gears to favour fall fashion, too. Irina Shayk and Julianne Moore were both snapped in chunky slip-on Oxfords, a seasonal staple, while Rihanna and Chrissy Teigen went for calf-height pointy boots with a bit of a slouch.
