Camila Cabello answers 73 questions with 'Vogue'

If there’s anything you’ve ever wanted to know about Camila Cabello, Vogue has got your back. The publication has officially added the Grammy performer to their “73 Questions” list, and “My Oh My” the results are… illuminating. Especially if you happen to be into fairy tales, BFF moms, and more insights into the singer’s relationship with a certain Canadian superstar.Cabello is currently living in an actual fairy-tale, English countryside home while filming the upcoming Cinderella musical, which is where she did the rapid-fire interview. Naturally her mom, Sinuhe Estrabao, was the one who opened the door for cameras (they are besties, after all), and Cabello strummed her guitar doing some chord progressions while she spoke about what inspires her and how her magical songs come together.“You just know,” she told the publication about finishing a song. “It’s like falling in love. You just know when you love that person, you know? You can feel when the puzzle fits together, and it’s perfect and you’ve captured everything. You’ve painted everything like a perfect picture. And then you can tell when it’s off and you need to work more on it.”

It seems like love is on the singer’s mind a lot lately actually. No one would blame the 22-year-old for feeling the romance given her current living quarters and the movie she’s filming, but Romance is also the title of her 2019 album. I'm definitely a hopeless romantic. I love love,” she said, admitting you don’t necessarily need to be in love to write about it, but it doesn’t hurt, either. “When you're in love, the detail that you get in the songs is… nobody can make that up in their imagination, you know? The way the person's shirt smelled, the expression on their face, the way the sky looked that night. Those details have to come from real life.”

Speaking of real life, Cabello also admitted she doesn’t read about herself because “it just hurts,” (fair enough) and that she has a strange obsession with bananas for some reason. “I actually eat a banana with every single meal. It doesn't matter what it is," she added. “It doesn't matter if it's pasta, a sandwich, rice and beans, scrambled eggs, pancakes, pizza. I eat bananas with everything.” So basically her potassium levels are probably top-notch.Through the entire interview, which also included a tour of Cabello’s charming home and an easy rapport with lots of smiles and laughs, fans can almost get a glimpse of the “Havana” singer’s inner Cinderella and understand why the character is the perfect one for her to play on the big screen.“Cinderella inspires me,” she said. “I love living in her magical world, where she believes in dreams and she believes in love and she believes in everything good because I want to be like that.
