Britney Spears reveals she once locked lips with Ben Affleck

By her own admission, Britney Spears might be the new gossip girl. A few months after her bombshell memoir “The Woman In Me” broke records and set Hollywood on fire with her revelations about ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, her family, Colin Farrell, her three ex-husbands, and many others, she has been using her Instagram (which is set to private mode) to spill more tea.

On Wednesday, she posted, and then quickly deleted, a picture dating back to 1999 of her posing with Good Will Hunting star Ben Affleck and songwriting legend Diane Warren. Doesn’t seem like a big deal until you read the caption, where she reveals she and Ben played tonsil hockey after that pic was taken. 

“Cool pic of me and Ben Affleck and Diane Warren years ago 😂😂 !!!” she began in the caption.

“He’s such an amazing actor. Did I fail to mention I made out with Ben that night … I honestly forgot … damn that’s crazy!!!” she continued.

“Wish I could tell you guys the story that happened before that !!! Oh dear, I’m just being a gossip girl 🤓😏 !!! Psss I actually forgot 😏😉😂😂😂 !!” she finished off her caption.

We’re going to need a wellness check on J.Lo, stat.

We’re not sure why the “Womanizer” singer has deleted the post, but one might speculate that, after fans did the math, some were outraged that the kiss in question happened in 1999 when Ben was 27 and Brit was 17, prompting the pop princess to delete all traces of it.

Affleck, who is currently married to Jennifer Lopez, hasn’t commented at press time on this revelation, however in the past he has faced accusations of inappropriate conduct early in his career, including groping an interviewer’s breast.

That accusation, which was caught on video, prompted a public apology from the Argo director during a 2017 appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

"What I was accused of, by a woman, was touching her breast while I gave her a hug," Affleck said. "I don't remember it, but I absolutely apologize for it. I certainly don't think she's lying or making it up."

Last week, the “Toxic” singer took to her Instagram to apologize to anyone who might have been offended by her memoir, seemingly directing the apology at ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake. Timberlake then turned around and seemingly shaded the “Stronger” singer during a concert, introducing his famous song “Cry Me A River” with the words, “I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f**king nobody.”

Her Instagram then lit up, firing back, “Someone told me someone was talking shit about me on the streets!!!," she wrote in a caption. "Do you want to bring it to the court or will you go home crying to your mom like you did last time??? I'm not sorry!!!"

We can only hope this revelation about Ben Affleck doesn’t turn into a similar messy back and forth situation.
