Dylan O'Brien was allegedly seen leaving Taylor Swift's apartment this morning

With Dr. Taylor Swift single, it was only a matter of time before there was wild speculation about her next beau. Our first "ARE THEY DATING??" story comes courtesy of some pics of none other than Dylan O'Brien ~allegedly~ leaving Taylor Swift's NYC apartment building the morning of April 12. 

Fans are circulating the below photos on Twitter, noting that they were taken outside Taylor's apartment building. Of course, there are any number of reasons why Dylan could be there (and we don't even have proof he was in her apartment) but you can't tell a Taylor Swift fan this means nothing... 

Fans also noted that there appears to be a sparkly "22" on the back of O'Brien's sweater. Is it an Easter egg? We wouldn't put it past her, but it's equally likely it's nothing. 

Taylor and Dylan have been friends since she reached out to him to star in her All Too Well short film in 2021. Since then, they've made several public appearances together and he even featured on "Snow on the Beach" off Taylor's 2022 album Midnights. She revealed that the collab came about because he was hanging out in the studio with her while she was recording the album. 

She told Jimmy Fallon last year, "Dylan and I become really close friends. Jack [Antonoff] becomes really close friends with Dylan. We all start hanging out all the time."

Taylor was seen out and about in New York City Monday night, marking the first sighting since news of her split with long-time boyfriend Joe Alwyn broke on Saturday. Taylor and Joe were together for six years and the news came as a surprise to fans, especially since Taylor has been so private about their relationship.

With such big news dropping during Taylor's week off from performing on her Eras Tour, all eyes are on her return to the stage Thursday night in Tampa.
