Jojo Siwa chopped off her signature ponytail and she looks incredible

Dancing with the Stars star and Dance Moms alum JoJo Siwa surprised fans this week by ditching her signature long blonde hair.

JoJo debuted the new look on Instagram with the caption, “HAPPPPPY.”

Siwa also shared part of the cutting process on IG and TikTok, finishing with a fun reveal of the full new 'do with a giant grin on her face. 

On Instagram Stories, JoJo shared ways of styling her new hair and asked for feedback.

“It's gonna be different every day and I'm still learning how to do it,” she revealed. “It's way different than long hair, it's crazy, but I'm obsessed!”

She also shared that her "favourite" way to style her shorter locks is... exactly the same as before.

Siwa previously revealed her mom began dyeing her hair blonde when she was nine. Her high ponytail and accompanying bow have been a signature part of her brand ever since.

Last year she ditched the bow in an Instagram Q&A and revealed she was ready for a change.

“It surprisingly was harder to tell [my mom] I wanted to wear my hair different [than it was to come out],” Siwa said. “The bow is still a part of my life. I still love bows. I forever will. They’re who I am, but maybe I won’t wear it every day.”
