Britney Spears is pregnant and also just got married

Oh Britney how we've wanted this for you! Britney Spears announced on Instagram Monday that she's expecting a baby (her third) with her now-HUSBAND (more on that in a sec) Sam Asghari. 

The singer posted a photo of a tea cup surrounded by pink carnations and a caption with the announcement.   

"I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back," the caption starts. "I thought 'Geez … what happened to my stomach ???' My husband said 'No you’re food pregnant silly 🤪 !!!'"

:So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby." 

"I obviously won’t be going out as much due to the paps getting their money 💴 shot of me 📸 like they unfortunately already have," she continued, noting that she's had pregnancy-related depression before that she's hoping to preemptively address this time around. 

"It’s hard because when I was pregnant I had perinatal depression … I have to say it is absolutely horrible 😔 … women didn’t talk about it back then … some people considered it dangerous if a woman complained like that with a baby inside her … but now women talk about it everyday … thank Jesus we don’t have to keep that pain a reserved proper secret 🤫 😬😬😬 … This time I will be doing yoga 🧘‍♀️ every day !!! Spreading lots of joy and love 💕 !!!" 

Britney and Asghari got engaged last September, but it seems they've gotten married (perhaps on the aforementioned trip to Maui?) recently. Not only did Brit refer to her beau as "my husband" in her baby announcement, she also made a big show of capitalizing the word in a post a few days before.

Britney has been public about wanting to have another baby since her conservatorship hearings last year. It was at those hearings that we learned she was forcibly made to have an IUD to prevent pregnancy. She posted shortly after her conservatorship was officially ended that she hoped she would be able to have another baby soon.
