‘Inseparable’ couple Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz’s friends say they have ‘cute and flirty chemistry’

It’s been a few weeks now that we’ve been seeing pics of actors Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum hanging out. First, they were seen laughing as he cruised on a bike and she walked beside him. Then she mounted the bike with him and held on to him as they sailed down the sidewalk. Then there were pics of them grabbing iced coffee drinks and laughing on the streets. They have been seen out and about a lot together in NYC, and this has all the makings of an epic summer romance.

An insider close to the duo agrees, telling People in their latest issue that the Magic Mike star and the High Fidelity alum, “continue to be inseparable."

“They spent the weekend in N.Y.C., strolled around the city, met up with friends and visited the Guggenheim Museum," the source told the outlet. "They looked very happy. They have this cute and flirty chemistry."

Another industry source reported, “Zoë thinks Channing has depth both as an actor and a person."

"They both like to work and be busy," the industry source continued. "Channing especially has a full plate with work and his daughter. Zoë loves her work and has a diversity of talents as well. It is an interesting match."

A different Hollywood source told People, “Channing likes that she is independent and outspoken as well as bright."

Although the two thespians both voiced characters for the 2017 animated film The Lego Batman Movie (Tatum voiced Clark Kent and Kravitz voiced Catwoman – a role she’ll be reprising in the live-action upcoming film The Batman opposite Robert Pattinson), apparently they never actually met until Kravitz approached him to star in her upcoming directorial debut, the gender-exploring thriller Pussy Island, which she also wrote.

Tatum was previously married to actress Jenna Dewan for 10 years, and they share an 8-year-old daughter, Everly. They were officially separated and legally single by November 2019. He had been dating his on-again, off-again girlfriend, British singer Jessie J, until she confirmed in October of 2020 that they were dunzo writing in a now-deleted post on Instagram, “Single life in a pandemic is [crystal ball emoji].”

Kravitz, who is the daughter of rocker Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet, was previously married to Karl Glusman, but rumours began circulating as early as January 2021 that she was dating Tatum the minute she filed for divorce after 19 months.

Earlier this year, the rumoured-couple spoke to Deadline about Kravitz’s Pussy Island project, and the two were positively flirting during the interview. Check out this transcript of their convo, when it was revealed that Kravitz got Tatum to stop wearing Crocs (thank God):

“When someone can just come out and tell me I should not be wearing Crocs, and is so adamant about it, she completely convinced me and I never wear Crocs anymore,” Tatum said.

“I was just trying to be a good friend, Chan,” she said.

This is 100 per cent boyfriend-girlfriend chemistry!
