The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie attend same 'intimate' concert amid dating rumours

Forget "Blinding Lights" because we're blinded by the potential of this rumoured Hollywood power couple. The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie continue to fuel romance rumours after being spotted at the same "intimate" concert over the weekend in Los Angeles at the Goya Studios.

The Those Who Wish Me Dead actress and the "Save Your Tears" singer were both photographed at Mustafa the Poet's concert on Friday but they didn't attend the show together.

“It was an intimate setting. … Real spiritual,” an insider told Us Weekly. "The Weeknd was very accessible, the other A-listers were accessible. Everyone was mingling before and after the concert. Angelina was with [two of her kids] and was seated next to the musician Akala.”

The insider added that they didn't see Jolie interacting with The Weeknd, who arrived at the concert later on in the evening.

The event had nearly 500 people in attendance and the performance lasted about an hour but stars still hung around after.

“Angelina and The Weeknd probably spoke at some point, especially if they know each other,” the source added. “Everyone was mingling and they were in the same general area.”

A fan shared images on Twitter of The Weeknd with a group of friends at the show while Jolie was sitting with her daughters 16-year-old Zahara and 15-year-old Shiloh.

The news of Jolie and The Weeknd being in the same room (again) comes after they were spotted out to dinner together at a romantic Italian restaurant in Los Angeles earlier this month.

The Weeknd met Jolie at the celeb-favourite date spot Giorgio Baldi where the pair reportedly dined together for several hours before leaving separately but we can't help but speculate 👀. 

A source did tell Page Six that their dinner was likely business-related... but we can still dream, right? “They’re clearly not trying to hide [the dinner date]. He’s definitely focused on getting to the movie business. He has the new HBO series he’s starring in," the source said.

As the pair left the restaurant in separate cars, they ignored questions from the swarming paparazzi asking if they were dating.

Many are speculating that it was more than just a business meeting because both Jolie, 46, and The Weeknd, 31, are currently single.

Jolie is still in the middle of her high profile divorce with ex-husband Brad Pitt and The Weeknd has remained single since splitting from longtime girlfriend Bella Hadid in 2019.

The 46-year-old actress was spotted leaving ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller's New York City apartment in June but it's unclear if they could be rekindling an old flame. 

It looks like we will have to wait and see if sparks are actually flying between these two or if they're just strictly business.
