Lady Gaga wore the highest heels and somehow made it look easy

This is a serious balancing act.

Lady Gaga continues to enjoy summer on her home turf in Manhattan. July and August in NYC are notoriously hot and sticky, which isn’t exactly conducive to looking fresh-faced and put together, and yet Gaga still managed to appear like the queen bee of the Big Apple this week in a fitted black Magda Butrym mini and ridiculously tall stiletto-heeled boots.

This footwear isn’t just appearing to look skyhigh because of some weird camera angle—they are in fact nine-inch booties by Pleaser Infinity with laces up the front. Intense, right? The star has been spotted heading in and out of the recording studio and has sported other massive stilettos, too, and we know she’s no stranger to walking with grace in towering heels.

Other stars threw on heels this week, too, like Sarah Jessica Parker, who’s still filming the SATC reboot in NYC and Hailey Bieber, who was with Justin at the Freedom Art Experience gallery opening in LA (it was hosted by her hubs). Still, some stars preferred to take the more modest approach to footwear, and I can’t really blame them. Gabrielle Union is also working on set in New York and was styled in a sweet flowing dress paired with crisp sneakers while TV personality Robin Roberts also went for an elevated mule with metallic detail and pointed toe.
