Singer Camila Cabello has zero patience for body shaming, especially when it comes to her own thoughts. The “Señorita” singer, and Shawn Mendes’ better half, took to TikTok to express how much love she has for her body, and all of its wobbly parts, after she had an epiphany whilst going for a jog.
"I was just running in the park minding my own business trying to be fit, trying to keep it healthy," Camila began the video, filmed as she was riding shotgun in a car. "And I am wearing a top that shows my belly."

"And I wasn't tucking it in because I was running and existing like a normal person that doesn't tuck it in all the time!” she exclaimed with the same kind of energy we have come to know and love from her.
“And I was like, 'Damn,'” she continued. “But then I reminded myself being at war with your body is so last season.”
That’s exactly what Cher from Clueless would say and we are here for it.
She added, “I am grateful for this body that lets me do what I need to do. We are real women with curves and cellulite and stretch marks and fat. And we gotta own that, baby."
The powerhouse songstress then finished off the TikTok by giving us a line of Aretha Franklin’s, "Giving him something he can feel."
The cherry on top was she captioned the TikTok “I luv my body,” and we all need to feel that on a Monday afternoon. It has over 3.2 million likes and over 26 thousand shares.
This isn’t the first time she has voiced her inspiring ethos when it comes to loving your body and ignoring the body-shamers. In August of 2019 she took to her Instagram Stories to vent about an article focused on her body.
“Honestly first thing I felt was super insecure just IMAGINING what these pictures must look like, oh no! My cellulite! Oh no! I didn't suck in my stomach!" she wrote at the time. "But then I was like… of course there are bad pictures, of course there are bad angles, my body's not made of f**king rock, or muscle, for that matter."
Her positive outlook has also rubbed off on her Canadian boyfriend, Shawn Mendes, and how he relates to his own body. He told British GQ in November 2020: “[She is] so strong, so clear and confident with her [body] and so articulate and empathetic about other people's and it really changed my view of mine.
