Ariana Grande shares first photos from secret wedding to Dalton Gomez

Ariana Grande shared the first images of her secret wedding with Dalton Gomez and they are breathtaking!

The “Thank U, Next” singer married Gomez on May 15 in a “tiny and intimate” ceremony with less than 20 people in attendance.

Grande shared the photos from the ceremony on Instagram Wednesday with the caption "5.15.21 " and she channelled elegance and beauty in her custom Vera Wang gown.

According to Vogue, Wang had promised that when the time came for Ari to walk down the aisle, she would create her wedding day look and she delivered the vision.

Grande wore a custom lily-white silk charmeuse empire waist column gown with a sculpted neckline, an exposed bra strap closure and a plunging back for her big day at her home in Montecito.

The designer posted a photo of Grande in her dress on Instagram and wrote, "@ArianaGrande to a truly magical muse, what an incredible journey this has been for all of us at Vera Wang. A joy and a honor! Wishing you and Dalton a lifetime of happiness. XX V."

No wedding day look is complete without a veil and the 27-year-old singer accessorized her gorgeous gown with a shoulder-length hand-pleated bubble veil with a satin bow at the very top. 

Grande topped off the look with pearl and diamond earrings by Lorraine Schwartz, which match her engagement ring that features an asymmetrically set pearl and diamond. That lopsided style is a nod to her aesthetic that started during the Sweetener era, according to the outlet. 

They report that the meaning behind the upside-down and up-right jewellery represents appreciating the lowest or the “upside-down” moment in life and how they help contribute to where she is now.

For the event, Grande ditched her signature high ponytail for a half-up hairstyle with soft curls. She wore a natural makeup look with winged liner. 

As for the ceremony, 20 close friends and family, including the iconic rescue dog Toulouse, gathered in a room lit up by candlelight to watch Gomez and Grande say “I do.”

Cue up the part of "Thank U, Next" when Ari sings about walking down the aisle holding hands with her mama because that actually happened! Grande’s mother, Joan Grande, gave her away alongside the singer’s father, Ed Butera.

Gomez wore a Tom Ford suit and waited for Grande to enter the romantic room under flowers suspended from the ceiling. 

The reception featured lush greenery covering the dinner tables, making the room as elegant as ever.

"Both Ari and Dalton love Montecito. They spend a lot of time there," a source told People when news of the secret wedding first spread. "It seems only natural that they would get married at Ari's beautiful and historic house."

The "7 Rings" singer announced her engagement to Gomez in December when she posted a photo of her diamond and pearl ring with the caption, "Forever n then some."

The pair first sparked dating rumours in February 2020 and spent the majority of the pandemic at Grande's L.A. home.

“Ariana sees something different in Dalton that she has never seen before in guys she has previously dated,” a source previously told Us Weekly about their romance. “When she saw him, she immediately thought he was cute and very good-looking, and she asked her team to set up an in-person meeting with him.”

They made their first official appearance together in the music video for Grande's quarantine anthem with Justin Bieber "Stuck with U."
