Alex Rodriguez seeks to normalize concealer for men with launch of The Blur Stick

Alex Rodriguez is saying hello to a new business venture and it involves makeup for men. 

A-Rod and Jennifer Lopez had both invested in the beauty and wellness company Hims & Hers last year before their recent breakup and now the former baseball pro is helping the company push its men's makeup line.

A-Rod shared a photo of himself looking flawless as ever while wearing the new concealer stick.

"Working with the Hims & Hers team, I wanted to create a product that solved an issue I faced every day," wrote A-Rod on Instagram. "I realized as I was jumping from meeting to meeting, I needed something quick and easy in my routine to conceal blemishes or razor bumps." 

"That’s why I am excited to share a new @Hims product - The Blur Stick. It’s a convenient concealer specifically designed for men that can be used for skin imperfections," he continued. "Check it out, I think you’ll be surprised how often it comes in handy."

The Blur Stick is available for $17 and it comes in eight different shades. The product is made with ingredients like aloe extract and jojoba seed oil to help moisturize and soothe the skin.

There for you in a pinch or for everyday use, consider it a final touch that makes all the difference," the product description reads. "Whether you're getting ready to go out or prepping for another video call, do it with confidence and a complexion you're proud of."

Many people on social media praised A-Rod's lastest business venture but some believed that it was JLo who taught him well when it comes to the beauty industry. Others said that makeup isn't a gendered product.

In an interview with Elle prior to their split, JLo revealed that Rodriguez is very into skincare and became a huge fan of her JLo Beauty line after trying all of the products.

“[Alex] tried everything,” she told the outlet. “He loves it and now we’re always fighting for the mask,” she said, adding. “[The products] are for anybody who has skin, which is everyone.” 

Since A-Rod and JLo called off their engagement over a month ago, it looks like both stars are moving on with their business ventures and their love lives.

Lopez has been reconnecting with ex-fiancé Ben Affleck, bringing Bennifer back to life. As for Rodriguez, he is choosing to focus on himself.

In an Instagram Story posted on Sunday, A-Rod wrote: "I am about to step into a new beginning in my life. Anything that doesn't serve me is clearing out of my life. New energy is emerging. New levels are unlocking for me mentally, physically and spiritually. I am remaining patient and know that this new phase of my life is coming."

Enter: The Blur Stick.
