Usher is a trending topic on Twitter and it’s not because he’s announced new music or anything of that nature. The piping hot tea is that Usher was caught reportedly throwing fake money in the strip club with his face on the bills.
A Las Vegas dancer, who calls herself Pisces, shared an image of the fake Ush-bucks if you will. The fake bills with a picture of Usher come in $1, $20 and $100 bills. The fake currency is supposed to promote Usher: The Vegas Experience for his upcoming residency that is set to launch in July.
The bills are designed to look like real money but the fact that Usher would bring these into a strip club and make it rain with fake currency is no bueno.
After news spread that Usher was allegedly making it rain with fake money, his rep told TMZ that the "Love In This Club" singer did not tip strippers with fake money and he actually spent a lot of real currency, while tipping the staff "at large quite generously."
His rep also said that Usher and his crew ended up spending thousands on dancers and also enjoyed bottle service at Sapphire in Vegas. It was reportedly somebody in his crew that left the Usher dollars behind on stage to promote his new Vegas residency.
Prior to Usher's rep releasing a statement, Pisces took to her Instagram Stories, asking, “Ladies what would you do if you danced all night for Usher and he threw this??” Pisces also clarified that the fake bills don’t have a trade value so they aren’t worth any type of money at all.
“Lmao don’t y’all think he should be blasted on social media for this s**t?” she asked.
A friend of Pisces shared the posts and wrote, “My GF posted this !!! I’ve never seen this level of f**kery!!!! Exactly why we stay away from celebs most of the time they suck!!!!!!! Cheap asf. So disrespectful, this is foul! Working so hard to get nothing in return! This is a joke!! Their job is to entertain, take your cheap ass back home!!!!!”
After the posts went viral, it seemed like everyone on Twitter had something to say about Usher using his fake money in the strip club.
Before Usher's rep released the statement to TMZ, the singer shared a picture of himself wearing a money bucket hat and captioned it with a money emoji. The shade!
Now we can confirm that the use of the fake money was to promote his upcoming Vegas residency. U Got us Bad, Usher.
