Lady Gaga snapped in a wedding dress for a critical scene in 'House of Gucci'

Lady Gaga has famously been engaged three times, but alas, Mama Monster has never walked down the aisle. Now we finally get a glimpse of what wifey-Gaga might look like with new photographs released from the set of House of Gucci, the biographical crime drama Gaga is currently filming in Rome with Adam Driver.

Images from Thursday morning’s film shoot hit the web, with our gal Stefani, who plays Patrizia Reggiani (Maurizio Gucci's ex-wife) in the drama, captured in a wedding dress, seemingly depicting the pair’s 1973 nuptials. These aren’t official on-set releases and appear to be shot by the papa . . .paparazzi.

PEOPLE describes the dress as having an, “A-line silhouette, floral detailing throughout, a high-low hemline, sweetheart neckline and long-sleeved sheer overlay […] with pearly white heels, an understated necklace and earrings, and a floor-length veil worn over a chic updo.”

House of Gucci explores the 1995 murder of Maurizio Gucci (played by Adam Driver -- remember this?), the head of the Gucci fashion house, and Patrizia’s role in his death. Talk about a Bad Romance, eh?

Directed by Ridley Scott, the film also stars fellow Oscar-winner Jared Leto as fashion designer Paulo Gucci, with Al Pacino, Jack Huston, Reeve Carney and Jeremy Irons rounding out the cast.

Last year, for the cover story of InStyle, the A Star is Born Oscar-winner said plainly that “marriage” was one of her top goals in life, adding, “I will say I am very excited to have kids. I look forward to being a mom.”

In her documentary Five Foot Two, Gaga spoke candidly about what her career goals and ambitions have done to her personal life: “I can’t help but realize that when I sold 10 million records I lost Matt,” we hear her say in one heart-breaking scene. “I sold 30 million and lost Luc. I did a movie and lose Taylor. It’s like a turnover.” She’s referring to Matthew Michael Williams, her ex-stylist; Luc Carl, a DJ and club promoter; and Taylor Kinney, respectively. Since then, she has also broken off an engagement to Christian Carino. She is currently dating Michael Polansky.

And no, Bradley Cooper is nowhere in that list, thank you very much.

Look, we’re not saying these on-set photos of Gaga in a wedding dress make Little Monsters everywhere dream of our Mama Monster finally achieving her dream of tying the knot but . . . okay fine, that’s exactly what we’re saying.
