Dear ol' Justin Bieber gave GQ a glimpse inside his tricked-out tour bus this week and we’re not exactly sure how he managed to fit a king-sized bed, an infrared sauna, a shower, a fireplace, and a roll-away bed onto a bus, hey, celebs can do anything, right? Raise your hand if Justin Bieber’s tour bus is bigger than your current apartment. *Raises all the hands*

It looks as if the camera crew interrupted him during a very sacrosanct moment: no he wasn’t writing a song, he was watching the Toronto Maple Leafs “absolutely demolish,” as he put it, the Ottawa Senators on his big flat-screen LED TV. Of course, the Stratford native would be highly invested in the battle of Ontario. “It’s 5-4! It’s looking good!” he exclaimed.

At lots of points during the tour, Canada played centre stage in his mind. As he was showing the crew all of his many, many, many closets, he suddenly fell silent, absolutely entranced by the Leafs and Sens. “Sorry, I got caught up in the TV,” he says. We feel ya, bro.

The bus, which he says he bought last year at the beginning of quarantine, was also the key to the big road trip he and wife Hailey undertook last year.

“We're able to travel in this and still be able to keep socially distanced,” he explained. “So we did a road trip in this bus, which was really cool. We traveled from my home in Canada all the way to my place in LA. I just think there's something about being in your own safe, comfortable environment that you just feel comfortable, and safe, and protected.”

Hailey comes up a few times in the tour. Apparently, Justin and Hailey share a lot of clothes, and we even catch a glimpse of a Polaroid lying about with the two of them smooching. Those two…. *swoon*

Leading a camera crew through the bus (which boasts classic cream-coloured, not peach, interiors), The Biebs introduces his “cozy” bedroom featuring a king-sized bed, then heads to the rear where there’s a full sink, toilet, shower AND an infrared sauna.

“When I'm on tour, I gotta make sure that I keep my body on optimal level,” the Grammy-winner explained. “Because there's so much that goes into touring and it's really hard on your body. You're doing like an hour and a half show a night, which is similar to a professional athlete. And so with that being said, you just gotta make sure you're taking precautions necessary so that you keep your body in shape. So that's why saunas are very good.”

The bus tour brought up many funny anecdotes and stories from his life. He welcomed his dancers, backup singers, and more onto his tour bus, making it a very welcoming space for the creatives on his tour. Speaking of creativity, he also recalled that his song “Memphis” from his third studio album, Journals, was written while he was on a bus in that famous Tennessee city.

Another standout memory from the bus involves photographer Alfredo Flores and Drake (because of course it does).

“One time, it was me, Alfredo, and another friend, and we made this music video,” the “Lonely” crooner began. “It was really low quality, we made it on a flip cam or something and it was like a 10-hour bus ride and we made it to this Drake song called ‘Find Your Loving.’”

“I don’t know if that’s what the song is called,” (it’s not, but close) “But anyways, we were on the bus and we had strobe lights, not real strobe lights, we had flashlights and we just made this mockery music video and it was fun.”

Here’s hoping we can expect more songs and music videos to come out of Justin’s tour bus in the future.
