We’re not worthy. Mike Myers and Dana Carvey are bringing back the ripped jeans and flannel once again to reprise their epic Wayne’s World characters for an upcoming Super Bowl ad. To say that it’s an excellent reunion would be an understatement.

The pair were spotted in a new 30-second spot on YouTube over the weekend as Wayne and Garth returned to Aurora, Illinois (and more specifically Wayne’s mom’s basement) to hock for UberEats. “And we’re back,” Wayne opens from his signature armchair while Garth bounces up and down on his sofa, drumsticks in hand. “2020 man, that was a great year… NOT! Yeah… that really sucked,” he continues. “Sucked donkey!” Garth adds.

Wayne then continues, “We just wanted to say that we'll see you soon for the ‘game,’ which for legal reasons cannot be named.” For those wondering whether that’s true, Super Bowl is indeed trademarked by the NFL and can only be used by companies that dish out big bucks. Any companies or official parties that use the terms without consent could face legal action—as some churches looking to raise funds have learned the hard way over the years.

“We’ll see you on the ‘big bowl,’” Garth adds. “The ‘gigantic bowl’” chimes in Wayne, as they both reveal their alternative suggestions are totally legal. The doorbell then rings and an UberEats bag can be seen on a table at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the main level. “All right, good teaser,” Garth says. “Yeah, I feel good about it,” adds Wayne.

Stayed tuned for the real, 60-second commercial, which airs on February 7 during Super Bowl LV. The game features a showdown between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs, (or a matchup between QBs Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes, depending on your POV). The Weeknd will perform during the halftime show and the national anthem will be sung in duet style by Grammy-nominated artists Jazmine Sullivan and Eric Church.

It’s been a while since fans got their Wayne and Garth on. The duo, made famous through their popular Saturday Night Live sketch in the late 1980s, went on to make the big screen comedy Wayne’s World in 1992 and its sequel in 1993. They’ve come together a handful of times in the years since, including for an episode of Josh Gad’s podcast Reunited Apart last December (they were joined by film stars Tia Carrere, Rob Lowe, Ed O'Neill, Lara Flynn Boyle, and musician Alice Cooper). They’ve also done occasional appearances on SNL, including a stint for the show’s 40th anniversary in 2015 and a bit in 2011 in which they discussed their picks for the Oscars (Carvey hosted that episode).

Who knows what antics the pair have in store for their “gigantic bowl” ad, but whatever they’re planning it’s safe to say they’ll be partying on with a few delicious, delivered snacks and probably a musical riff or two.
