Kanye is reportedly 'not doing well' amid split from Kim

It seems like the Kim Kardashian and Kanye West divorce is quickly approaching, and Kanye is reportedly having a hard time dealing with the possibility of a divorce from his estranged wife Kim Kardashian. 

A source close to the “Through The Wire” rapper told People that he is really struggling. "Kanye is not doing well," the source told the outlet. "He is anxious and very sad. He knows that the marriage is over, and there's nothing that can be done right now. He also knows what he is losing in Kim." 

Rumours of the possible divorce began in January after multiple sources confirmed that Kim was planning on ending her marriage of six years with Kanye. "They are just not on the same page when it comes to their future as a family," a source close to the Kardashian family to People at the time. "And Kim is okay with it."

Kim has yet to file divorce papers, but a source confirmed that there is “very little hope of reconciliation.” The source added, “It would have to be a miracle. But Kanye does believe in miracles.”

Kim is the primary caregiver for their four children: North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, who turns 2 in May. The reality star has reportedly told her inner circle that she wants Kanye to be part of their lives. 

"Kim has made it clear that Kanye can talk to his children anytime he wants," the source said. "She has never threatened to keep him from the kids. She only requires that he is not going to damage them. Kanye can FaceTime the kids anytime he wants. He hasn't been great about that, but everyone is encouraging him to do it."

The source added that Kim doesn’t want to hurt Kanye, but she knows that she cannot be married to the rapper anymore. “He is very aware that she has been a good wife. He still loves her very much. But he understands,” the source said. 

Amid his split from the SKIMS creator, Kanye was spotted still rocking his wedding ring in new photos taken in Malibu on Wednesday. He was wearing an all-white outfit and carrying his phone with his wedding band visible on his left hand in the photos obtained by Page Six. The “Famous” rapper returned to California from his ranch in Wyoming in January.  

The couple attended marriage counselling earlier this year, but an insider confirmed that the pair are no longer bothering with the counselling. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has reportedly hired high-profile divorce attorney Laura Wasser. Both reps for the couple haven’t confirmed the news of the divorce, but it will allegedly play out heavily in the final episodes of the reality series.

A source close to the show said, “The Kardashians intend to go out with a bang. They’ve filmed Kim discussing her marriage problems. But everybody involved is on a nondisclosure agreement because the finale won’t screen until later in 2021.” Page Six reports that the break-down of their marriage will be the main final storyline of KUWTK.  

Kanye has remained very quiet in 2021 since news of his potential divorce spread. Earlier this month, the couple continued to fuel divorce rumours after it was reported that 'Ye had been spotted moving 500 pairs of his sneakers from Kim's home. According to Page Six, West moved items from the home while Kim was in Turks and Caicos with the Kardashian family.

The outlet reported that the "Runaway" rapper left the Calabasas home he shared with Kim with 500 pairs of sneakers. "They both felt it would be less dramatic without both of them in the house," the source told Page Six.
